Where to even start...-Sporadic hot water access in kitchen sink-Poorly equipped kitchen (only can opener was broken)-Dishwasher not secured and tipped dishes out when loading both racks-Flooring and appliances are cheap and in poor shape-Both toilets either sticking, running, or not flushing. Cheap, damaged flooring and tile, holes in walls. -Fireplace (the central and primary feature of the property) doesn't work. It's printed in the check-in folder, after you arrive, which feels like a bait/switch.-Property is located directly facing a busy road with significant traffic noise day and night. - Poor visibility backing out of the driveway into traffic is dangerous and anxiety-inducing.-Property is flanked by a large, barking dog on one side and noisy chickensturkeys on the other. -Deck and yard are in poor shape-Trees brush against upstairs bedroom windows anytime the wind blows. -It snowed while we were there and there was no way to clear it from the walkways, so the path from the door to the driveway became icy and treacherous. Overall a miserable experience.

Things we liked:Counter tops are excellent.Beds are very comfortable.Room darkening shades are good.Furnishings and Utah-themed decor are very nice.Flooring in living areas is good.Unfortunately, this feedback box does not allow enough text to fully describe all of the issues that need to be addressed with this property. The most important are below.The yard is a mess and gutters are overflowing with debris and plants. Terrible first impression.Both toilets don't flush properly. Downstairs toilet is not properly fastened to floor.Missing bifold door on laundry area.Kitchen floor tiles are loose. Another bad first impression.Gas fireplace (which host doesn't want guests using) has no shutoff valve and pilot burns 24/7. Serious safety issue.Kitchen is poorly stocked with poor quality items. Many missing necessities (measuring cups/spoons, knife sharpener, salad plates, small juice glasses, baking dishes, microwave-safe containers, teaspoons). Nonstick pans are peeling badly.Barstools are too low for eating or working comfortably.No dressers in bedrooms. No desk for remote working.King bed is too big for downstairs bedroom, should be swapped with queen upstairs.Downstairs shower needs grab bars for older guests with mobility issues.

We were in town to coach at a soccer tournament. Needed a nice quiet place to stay. I highly recommend staying here. The communication was fantastic. The hosts provided wonderful directions and information. Check-in was easy. The home is beautiful and comfortable. It was very clean and comfortable. In a wonderfully quiet neighborhood. The home also had everything we needed to cook and stay for four days. I highly recommend staying here and hopefully we will be back.

Great location for world-class skiing, some improvements would be great

The Wonderful: great location (about 30 min drive) to Alta and Snowbird ski resorts with world-class skiing; less than 10 minutes to amazing kids park, fun restaurants and bakery, and Walmart market. The bedding was phenomenal, like what you would get in a 4-star US hotel. There were cozy blankets. The couch and TV in the living room were comfortable. Kitchen is fully stocked.Needs Improvement: There's nowhere to hang your coat. Dining table chairs are metal and therefore cold in the winter. There are two bathrooms and 4 bedrooms that sleep 8 so this might not be enough bathrooms for a larger group (was not an issue for our smaller party). The driveway is a bit tricky to back out of.

Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Knickerbocker! Great location with easy access to restaurants, groceries and other activities. Awesome proximity to the mountains! Knickerbocker for the WIN

The property was fantastic - it was comfortable, clean and ideal for our needs. I would like to suggest that the owners include power bars next to the beds for all the tech we charge (phones, watches, etc). And a girl suggestion - we would love all VRBO owners to put full length mirrors or a mirror in each bedroom - when doing makeup/getting ready we are limited when others are in the bathroom - outside of that it was fantastic! The view, the patio, the location so close to everything while being in nature was wonderful. I'll be here again soon!

Great stay at the Knickerbocker in Draper

A few friends and I stayed here for a ski trip to the Cottonwoods over a long weekend. The house was perfect for our needs — lots of bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and parking. Communication with Jeff was very good and he brought us a few items that were either broken or missing during our stay. I'd recommend the house to anyone staying in SLC

Convenient

We stayed here for our Christmas ski trip. The reviews were spot on and the location was perfectly convenient to everything. It was nice to have shampoo, conditioner, body wash and even laundry detergent. It felt like home. If we ever return to Utah, we will certainly book the Knickerbocker again. Thank you!

Cute, but had some problems

We went at the right time, we had snow which was wonderful just to sit and watch from the many windows in the house. The house was cute, clean, and near enough to everything you could need. The first problem was in the first 3.5 days of our stay. There was no internet and required the ISP to come out and fix the problem. I needed to work while we stayed there and needed to use my phone's hotspot to work. The other glaring problem is the king bed, the mattress is awful! They put a 1" memory foam on it, which wasn't enough and did very little to address the problem. It was like sleeping on a trampoline, every small movement the whole bed would move with you. It's an old and uncomfortable mattress that needs to be completely replaced, along with the box spring. I wouldn't mind staying here again if the problems were fixed.

A Great Place for Thanksgiving

We came to the Salt Lake valley to be with family who live in this area and stayed all of Thanksgiving week. This was the perfect place. The beds were comfortable, and the home was inviting. We enjoyed the comfortable living room and were able to log into our Netflix and Disney+ accounts. (You can log into almost any of dozens of streaming services, actually.) The kitchen was adequately provisioned with the pots, pans, and utensils needed to prepare a full Thanksgiving meal. We saw a family of deer wander through the neighborhood, too. Thank you for a great stay.

Spectacular

We had a group of five adults and two teens at this property for five days. The property was well-maintained, clean, and stocked. To our delightful surprise, we saw deer and other wildlife both on the property and on the drive to and from the location. Contrary to many VRBO's that I have stayed in, every single bed was comfortable and there were plenty of warm blankets and pillows. I have already recommended this location to others and will definately stay here again.
