« I attended a weekend conference at this hotel so it was selected for me. The staff were most friendly and my conference was excellent, but the hotel let itself down with ludicrous prices for food and beverages -- and my room had a ceiling of enormous cobwebs (see photo). One glass of red wine and a pint of beer was 13 pounds. The restaurant was full on the evening I arrived so I had to eat in the bar. My salad had 4 lettuce leaves and did not come with a dressing (see photo). The kitchen...

« I love staying at Wildes Chesterfield, the staff are fantastic and can’t do enough to make sure my stay is wonderful. I admire Liam, one of the managers, he works hard to ensure that everything is just as it should be and he remembers people and their needs. « Lovely bedroom and bathroom. We were very warm and comfortable. Would suggest install a small handrail when going up the two steps into the bathroom would be a great help for the less able bodied. Really enjoyed being there and hope to return. »
