Beautiful house, great room. Was fun to stay in such an historic house; it was like staying in a museum! Clean, and well- kept. Wish the breakfast offerings would have been a little better, but that's not what we chose this place for.
We had a lovely stay in the Superior Suite for our anniversary. The mansion is simply gorgeous, and the quiet relaxation provided was so needed. I am thrilled we picked this boutique hotel over the hustle and bustle of Canal Park!
The Superior Suite was more than we expected for our night in Duluth. Large, clean, tastefully decorated and the beds were extremely comfortable.
We look forward to visiting again.
First of all this is not a two bedroom. It is a one bathroom, one bed, one wall ac unit, with glass doors leading into room with one bed (no privacy here) and one chair. Being at at the top of the house, means very hot and one ac unit the size of a beach towel rolled up is not sufficient. I talked to Maria (property host), who told me it was a 2 bedroom (plenty of privacy) with each bedroom with it's own AC & Heat controls = not true. I mean what are you going to do; you arrive and climb three flights of stairs to this .... So, we just left our bags and left and came back at 10pm to go to bed and the next morning at 5am we left the .... What a waste of money and time. If they would have just told the truth we would never have stayed there.
