Spacious and comfortable

We enjoyed a couple of nights at Hilltop Retreat. The place is tastefully decorated, spacious, and comfortable. We loved the swing chair! Although this is a lower level unit, the space is quiet and both bedrooms have full windows. Parking was convenient. We were under 10 minutes away from any activities we planned - dining, shopping, and sightseeing

Fun!

Our daughter was dancing in Nationals and we loved this place. Probably 4 mins to the convention center. Of course, depending on the day. Nice, clean place, with everything you need! I loved the deer that would come by and just look at me. Thank you!

nice spot for marathon weekend

comfortable stay at the top of the hill in duluth for Grandmas Marathon weekend. Well thought out 2 bedroom spot with good beds and most of what you need for a stay in duluth. communication with the folks who manage the place was easy. lots of towels, nice and clean, and well maintained rental.

Lovely, well cared for property

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Hilltop Retreat. It was very comfortable and all of our needs were taken care of! The sauna was a great addition! We had to contact the property manager and we found them to be very helpful and friendly. We would recommend this property to anyone hoping to stay in Duluth!

Quick family get away

We stayed here during a weekend volleyball tournament. It was a Nice quiet family get away even though we were running a lot with vb. We enjoyed a competitive family game of Monopoly and the kids enjoyed the outside area with the basket ball hoop. Got to relax and use the sauna one night which was Awesome! Woulda liked to stay longer ….. Will definitely keep this little gem for future visits!

Relaxing Rest

My spouse and I had a great stay at this location. It was a nice base camp for us as we spent our days running around and enjoying the Duluth/North Shore area. We loved the sauna and had a very easy check-in/check-out process. The listing was as described and had lots of great resources that highlighted Duluth.

Hilltop Retreat

Property was great! Will be adding this to our future shortlist of properties in Duluth! Only complaint was the driveway and sidewalk was NOT shoveled. We had a hard time getting in and out of the driveway. We had to shovel the sidewalk so we would not track snow into the property. Also, would be nice to know that check in details are shared an hour before check in. Thank you so much!!

Gorgeous getaway

We had a great time. The unit was clean, has comfortable beds, a lot of beautiful art and little touches that made it a stand out. The sauna was amazing and we loved the fire pit and our view of the lake. Ample kitchen ware and appliances that truly made it easy to make meals like being at home. The only downside is that it is in the basement of a home and we could hear footsteps and motion from the upstairs quite early some mornings that woke us up. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall this quiet comfortable Hillside Retreat provided just about all I would ask for in a short term rental. I liked the convenient parking steps away from our door, having one and a half bathrooms. My favorite part about this spot was the private sauna. We hope to have the opportunity to stay here next time we are in Duluth.

Relaxing property in a great location

My family and I were in town visiting when our lodging plans needed a last minute change. We found this property but were unable to book through VRBO for a same day check in. The property manager was quick to contqct us and make arrangements for check in that night. We fo u bd the house VERY clean, comfortable and relaxing. It is BLOCKS from my mothers house and an easy drive to all things "touristy" in Duluth. All of us LOVED this place and we will definitely see if it is available next time we need a place to stay in Duluth. We would 100%

We booked the Hilltop Retreat for 2 nights with another couple. It was well-equipped, clean & comfortable! My only wish would have been to get the check in details a little earlier, but overall we had a great time & would totally book again!

Girls birthday weekend

It was easy to come and go, and it was easy to get to the main sites in Duluth. The rooms were spacious, and the beds were comfortable. We loved the attention to detail with the decorating. It was nice having two bathrooms for our group.
