« Great location, wonderful friendly staff, comfy beds, plenty of parking and great breakfasts. Only downside was the height of the bathroom ceiling, but we were in the loft space with a great view of the river. »

« Booked as got stuck on the A303, nice staff, great breakfast and hard to argue with the price. My only minor criticism is being 6’3 the light they’d fitted to the single room was basically at face height so I cracked my head a couple of times getting in and out of bed. Otherwise would recommend for a cheap stay. »

« We stayed in the garden suite. It was lovely. My only criticism would be that one of the legs on the futon in the living room area was broken. Our Daughter said the bed in the smaller bedroom wasn't very comfortable so we used spare duvets and a blanket to make it more comfortable. The small garden area was ideal for our dogs to be able to give them some space to toilet etc. The food in the pub was very nice, my only criticism would be the lack of vegetarian options. Overall we enjoyed our stay....

« This hotel was phenomenal.The check in person so was good.Gave lots of advice.Breakfast and dinner are available.The room was so cozy and gave amenties like water,sweets and biscuit.The room was very clean.The room had laminated pamphlets sheets of information about breakfast,bus times,Thoverton and Exeter town information etc.There is a pub below the rooms which is quite busy in the evenings to nights.This place is well taken care of and they take care of their guests.It is an exceptional place...

« Very quirky old place.We did have an en suite which not all have.You can expect some oddness when a building is this old.We loved it there.The staff were great as was the food.Very comfortable and clean.Would stay again. »

« Denne lille perle et stykke uden for alfavej, viste sig at være så hyggeligt/autentisk, med værter som modtog een som var man en ven af huset. Der var så meget atmosfære, som vi håbede vi ville finde i en lokal Inn med beboer fra byen, som kom forbi med deres hunde osv.. Kan varmt anbefales. »
