« Comfy room, generous towels. Arrived late Friday evening, no bother getting a table in the pub downstairs for food- they don't take table reservations, so I wasn't at a disadvantage. Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service. There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure! He showed me how to access once the pub was closed, helped me empty the bags from the car and carried them to our room all with a friendly, nothing was too much trouble approach. « Le personnel était toujours à l'écoute. Après notre première nuit nous avons demandé à changer de chambre pour notre convenance personnelle, et cela a été fait. A notre départ nous avions oublié quelque chose dans notre chambre, et un membre du personnel a couru à notre voiture pour nous le remettre! Seule remarque négative : un panneau sur la route nationale aurait été utile pour trouver l'hôtel plus facilement. »

« Staff were great, the hotel looked stunning and the grounds were amazing. The breakfast was delicious too. The room we had was in the attic so I kept hitting my head, the main light in the room was above the doorway which was around a corner so didn’t really help at all. There was water and hair in the bottom of the shower when we arrived as if someone had only just had a shower. There were patches of damp in the room around the window and on the ceiling. »
