A convenience store a few doors down made it easy to buy anything we needed from food, snacks and drinks including spirits and beer. „We booked a so called “luxury” property through Expedia, and what we arrived to was diabolical. This is not an exaggeration from the moment we arrived, it was obvious the property was in a disgraceful condition. The settee was broken and leaning, covered in stains, the walls were filthy, and the garden was completely overgrown. However When we arrived we found the hot tun had not been cleaned (like & mud & hair). Also the temperature was.not hot.The accommodation wa dirty.. cups that were dirty with lisp it marked, shower not cleaned properly & bin dirty too. Worktops also dirty. „We've just spent a few days over New Year at Victoria House. We were a party of 6 adults and 6 older teens and the house was ideal for us. Plenty of space, a games room and separate small living room, well stocked kitchen, super comfy beds and plenty of bathrooms. Bembridge is a great location, the village has a brilliant and friendly pub (The Old Village Inn), a good Coop, pharmacy etc. It's also walking distance to the harbour, and beach.
