« Wonderful home right on a quiet lake. We had access to a kayak and canoe, which my husband used to go fishing a couple times. The outdoor fire pit is great! The home was immaculate and as listed. The host was responsive when we had questions. We would love to go back with friends or family again. »

« This is a great place to get away from it all. It was really nice to have a place on the water and sit around a campfire in the evening. The house/cottage is very clean, nicely decorated, and well-equipped. There aren't any stores or restaurants nearby, so stop at a grocery store in Ellsworth. There might be some firewood left by others, but it would be best to purchase some camp wood on the way. It is sold by seemingly everybody. Bar Harbor is an hour away by car. »

« We enjoyed our stay and the place was wonderful! We bought things to pack a lunch for Acadia, and it was nice there was a grocery store 2 minutes away. Being able to do a load of laundry after traveling and being hot was amazing! The place we stayed before had a washer and dryer, but we didn't want to buy a lot of detergent for one load. Also, not having us do any clean up before we left was a really nice bonus. I don't mind the small things other places ask us to do, but that you acknowledge...

« This place was so cute and made getting in to Acadia easy. My only complaint was it was listed for up to 6 people but there was an extra charge for more than 4 guests which wasn’t obvious until checkout. However we had everything we needed and really enjoyed our stay! »
