« We had a great time during our visit. Apart from walking the village there isn’t much to do. We still made the most of our time and made friends with many locals. We did feel a little uncomfortable at the end of our trip as the president was complaining that we had paid in advance and he expected us to pay for the hotel the day before we left. After we sorted everything he said with others and complained that we hadn’t spent enough during our trip. »

« This is not an apartment in Portobelo like the map indicates. It's a house about a mile outside of town and it's a bit rundown. The AC can't keep up with the heat and the entire house has a slight musty smell. I left 2 weeks ago and I still can't get the musty smell out of my CPAP machine.
