Cette maison en bord de mer, Eastham se trouve sur la baie de Cape Cod, suivez le chemin de votre plage de sable privée! Propery se trouve sur un emplacement privé dans une impasse et offre une vue imprenable depuis presque toutes les pièces. Il a des unités de climatisation "sans conduit" dans toute la maison, qui se refroidit de manière similaire à la climatisation centrale. Il est pratique pour Orléans, la piste cyclable, le National Seashore Visitor Center, et plus encore. Avec quatre chambres et trois bains, il peut accueillir confortablement jusqu'à 8 personnes. Furnished perfectly for my family. Beds are a little small but are comfortable. You couldn't find a better place to enjoy the perfect sunsets. I enjoyed the tides going way out during parts of the day. Close proximity to many stores including Stop-n-Shop. It was our first time renting this home but definitely booking it for next year.

The home is beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could ask for. The home is designed with comfort in mind. And the layout was perfect. The flow of the home is open, modern and beachy. We just loved it and want to come back next year for 2 weeks.

Our only minor complaint is that the master bed on the main floor - next to living room - was rather uncomfortable and squeaked at the tiniest movement (we are under 50 and in good shape....). For the cost of the rental, an updated bed would be much, much appreciated. Again, we had a lovely time in this home and have been renting on Cape Cod almost 20 years, this might be the best location yet.

The downstairs bathroom was disappointing as it was tiny. The beach was not really a beach for swimming but rather for walking. No sand abuts the water. One must walk through the marsh grass. Water shoes are a must. The property was definitely special as the sunsets were amazing. Overall we had a great experience and would consider renting it again if we could book it.

Bay View

The home was stocked with everything we needed and I found that to be a thoughtful gesture. The home itself was very comfortable and airy with its white wicker furniture throughout the house. The large deck was lovely with a gorgeous bay view! Sunsets were breath taking and the walk to the beach was typically Cape Cod with lots of white sand and long sea grass with the typical cape cod rugosa rose! Total privacy was an added benefit! The home also had enough space to sneak away for some quiet time if needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 23 Keene Way! And we were able to spot the original family home on the next street! The owners provided a bit of history regarding their family! Thank you Harris Family for providing our family with a lovely Cape Cod Vacation!

Easy walk down the steps to the beach. The house has a great covered deck for keeping beach supplies and a great uncovered deck. We do wish there was less clutter in the cabinets. Some beds were not as comfortable as others. Also a good number of spiders. My daughter and I got some nasty bites the first night. Overall, we had a fantastic stay enjoying the unmatched peace and quiet of the beach.

Our Disappointing Experience

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is great; wonderful views of the bay and nicely furnished. The problem is with the broker, Berkshire Hathaway. Renter beware. The batteries in the fire/smoke detectors had run down causing the detectors to falsely warn us of smoke on the ground floor and telling us to vacate immediately. The fire department came quickly and assured us all was OK. The department came back the same evening when the detectors again started buzzing. The department kindly changed all the batteries. The next day after we reported what had happened to Berkshire Hathaway one of the brokers in the Orleans office volunteered to credit $75 to our account. That was a month ago. Since then the broker had never kept its promise despite requests from us. The funds will not change our lives (nor I trust the brokers’). But keeping your word is an important element of trust and now we have none. Berkshire Hathaway's excuse has been that its accounting department located somewhere in the US has to make the credit. The broker has never explained the delay.

A Wonderful Vacation Spot!

Location, number of bedrooms, comfort were just what we wanted and expected. What I noticed, in addition, was that the kitchen is well equipped. The toy box was packed with beach equipment that delighted our kids. Shades were available to block the sun’s heat but not the view. And we could sit inside, in comfort, and watch a spectacular sunset every night.
