Hotel Ellenthorpe

« We stayed one night as a stopover on our way home to Scotland. We had a superior double room in the lodge part of the hotel. Stunning room. Very spacious even with what looked like a super king bed. Lovely to have the little terrace space. Had a delicious meal in the restaurant and excellent breakfast in the morning. Loved the different options to normal offerings with overnight oats and yoghurt smoothies. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Lovely dog friendly hotel which we’d love to...

« Was nice. Breakfast was good »

« We were here for a wedding. Everything ran like clockwork and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. One word of warning, if you have mobility issues make sure you are on a floor serviced by a lift »

« Lovely junior garden room with a very nice view! Very cosy and dog friendly! Super food served and the staff especially Jane & Lauren were so lovely and gave super service! Would highly recommend staying or dining here! »

« Perfect spot to visit York and surroundings. Place is useful. Parking plenty of EV pods. A shopping centre close to the hotel allows all food breaks. »

« Nice place..a little tricky to find. Service first night good great breakfast...2nd night and breakfast not as professional. Disappointing provision of toiletries....only enough for 1 first night and NONE 2nd night.....just the hand wash!!! Comfortable bed and spacious room with good thoughtful provision of everything else. »

« The accommodation is very good and the restaurant is of a very high standard. The carvery is worth a special mention. All the hotel staff delivered service that made us feel valued. »
