Amazing place to stay! Easy check in, easy to get ahold of. My grandkids loved all the games they had to play. Enjoy listening to the creek at night from the top deck. Overall loved our stay there! Location was great and private.

vinoy was very easy to communicate with before, during and after our stay. there were 4 adults. all of us over the age of 80. the cabin was clean, 3 bedrooms with bath/showers, up to date laundry, plenty of dishes/pots and pans, great tv, very quiet except for the sound of the stream across the road. was a nice sound especially at night. he's got a game room down stairs that has a pool table (we played daily), dart board and a pac man game machine. his cabin is located a short distance from ellijay and shopping. the one thing we didn't like was the steep driveway.. was a little difficult going up, and scary going down. unfortunately, even though the cabin is located in a nicely wooded area, we didn't see any bear. over all, we enjoyed our stay

3rd anniversary getaway

Me, my husband and another couple stayed here for our anniversary weekend. We are 46-58 and was looking for a nice quiet retreat. This cabin was beautifully furnished, clean and provided all we needed for a fun filled weekend. There's a creek next to the cabin and the sound of rushing waters adds to the calm and peacefulness. A game room and the hot water tub iced the cake perfectly. The host was excellent and responded to any inquiries timely. I would definitely recommend and stay again

Very nice place, rough driveway without new tires/4W drive

Great place. Everything you need and nice location. Clean, wonderful amenities. Very steep driveway that is slippery when there is rain so you need new tires and/or 4W drive or you will be parking at the bottom.

The property was great. The accomodations were nearly perfect. The grill was not shown accurately in pictures however, which was by no means a major detraction. I would also recommend an ammended trash policy, we stayed several days with 5 people and it just wasn't realistic to keep all trash in the cabin for the duration of our stay. Other than those two minor things we thoroughly enjoyed out stay and we absolutely would stay here again.

Anniversary Trip

Everything was clean and well stocked. Host was very helpful before and during our stay. Loved the cabin but didn’t like the driveway. It’s steep but was able to make it up in a regular truck no 4 wheel drive needed but would have made it easier. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We celebrated our 35th anniversary in Ellijay and stayed at the cabin. It is close to downtown and wineries. Inclement weather kept us indoors on Saturday; well entertained in the game room. Kitchen is well appointed for any chef.

We had a wonderful time celebrating at your beautiful home. We had everything we needed and enjoyed exploring the creek & surrounding area. The driveway was very steep which was the only negative part. We had fun enjoying the game room, hot tub & fire pit. Thank you for hosting us!

Family get together

Our adult children joined us for a weekend, family, fun and photos opportunities. The cabin was beautiful and the multiple decks were great for pictures. Having three bedrooms on three different levels, afforded us privacy and convenience. The kitchen was great for cooking in the playroom down on the bottom level was super for competitive pool shooting(ha ha) The fire pit outside was welcomed for making s’mores. it would have been perfect if not for that driveway. Steep with no shoulder and the lighting was less than desirable, making it unnecessarily difficult.

Creekside paradise!

We loved our stay at Kell’s Creek! The location was beautiful- we loved taking walks along the creek and relaxing on the porches. There were so many little details that made our stay enjoyable. The kids loved the games in the basement. The kitchen had nice cook ware and the knives were actually sharp!! The driveway was intimidating but we made it up and down in our minivan. We will definitely be back.

Great location

This is a beautiful and relaxing area, with a great town nearby. The creek was flowing, birds chirping, and overall ambiance was perfect. Host left a starter log and wood for the fire pit, which we made sure to use! Highly recommend!

Just what the doctor ordered!

As a family who frequents Ellijay several times per year, I can confidently say this property is one of the best. The location is amazing in that it’s a 7 minute drive to the city center where you can find cute shops, great restaurants, and more but offers the privacy you look for to get away from the grind. It is also very close to the Cartecay River where we enjoyed tubing. The property boasts amazingly lush greenery, a full kitchen, hot tub spa, jet bathtub, 2 private balconies and amazing views and sounds from the creek that runs next to it. The property has modern appliances but offers “cozy cabin” vibes. The host was also very accommodating with helping us check in and get settled. We will be making this property a regular on our future trips.

Amazing!

Property was very beautiful and private! Host was amazing and went above and beyond to help us. Any questions or concerns we had were responded to very quickly! People in the reviews weren’t lying about the steep driveway as it is was a bit scary. We made it up with ease in a Jeep Cherokee and a Dodge truck. Overall, a very great experience!

Awesome getaway!

The listing was accurate and host was responsive. We spent 5 nights and had a great time in Elijay and Blue Ridge. The accommodations were cozy and warm despite the cold weather in February. Wifi service was great considering certain cell services are spotty. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

Quiet Anniversary Getaway

Our stay was pleasant with a few small issues that the host remedied quickly. The host is extremely responsive and desires guests to have an enjoyable stay. The upstairs soaking tub is really nice. The kitchen has most everything you’ll need. WiFi is pretty good for this area. The street isn’t busy at all, so you feel pretty secluded although very close to town. This is a great location, and we look forward to a future stay. Thank you for your hospitality, Vinoy.

Trash needs work

Everything was great about the actual house. Enjoyed our stay. Only two issues. We were told that the trash was a big deal, but the trash cans didn't fit in or out of the trash can holder. Other than that, great cabin, very steep driveway as stated don't attempt without 4x4!
