„We came up for parents weekend activities and this was the perfect place to escape all the business. Its was peaceful and the surroundings are beautiful. Its close enough to everything bar far enough to enjoy some privacy, we will stay again!!“

„This was my second stay at Doe's Hideaway. It is a serene and beautiful setting, and the house is perfect appointed. It is 15-20 minutes easy commute from downtown Waco & Baylor University. It is perfect for porch sitting, walks, fishing and watching the stars. “

„This was a cute little area for us to stay. The yurt and bathroom facilities were very clean, the grounds well taken care of, we didn’t get to try the sauna but the hot tub was nice. We happened to stay while a band was at the Will and it was awesome to just sit outside the yurt and listen to unwind from our day. “

„I was on a mini getaway and this place was perfect. The housing was equipped with all the right essentials and it made for a peasant stay. The hot tub was an added bonus for relaxing. I spent time reading on the point watching the turtles pop their head up in the lake. It was a peaceful getaway. Oh! And the beds were extremely comfortable.“

„My partner and I spent three days on the property. We needed a few days of R&R and we loved spending our time here. It was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The place had everything we needed. The owner was responsive and communicated timely with helpful information and resources for our stay. We did venture out to Waco a bit and the distance was just right. We hope to stay again soon!“
