« Hunt's Run Hideaway is a lovely place. It's in an area with dark skies (bortle 2 to astronomy folks) and has a nice creek running by the yard. We enjoyed walking in the creek and sitting on rocks. There were a pair of kingfisher birds that were present every time we went down there. We also saw red-tail hawks and a bald eagle (thanks for having bird identification books in the house). The house is in a valley, so we didn't see stars down to the horizon from the yard, but there were places...

« When we arrived at the house on 7/11/2025 night we were pleasantly surprised by how lovely the house looked! It was clean and roomy. My great grand daughter was so excited because she could investigate everything. The air conditioner was on so the house was cool . Which was great. The one and only issue, was not having a good supply of bath towels, kitchen towelsAnd wash clothes. We found that you having work done throughout the house. « We had a wonderful stay at Five Pines Lodge in Coudersport! The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and in excellent condition. The kitchen was a real highlight, with new appliances and fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals with ease.We especially enjoyed the peaceful surroundings—hiking in the nearby woods during the day and gathering around the fire pit at night for s’mores, with plenty of dry wood provided.
