The day before our scheduled trip, Door County experienced sever storms and had many places with power and internet outages, she reassured us on the state of the property and how to get around road blocks to get there safely. This 1938 log cabin is beautifully restored and updated and we had a comfortable stay. „I brought my large family of 16 - 3 adult kids and their spouses along with 8 grandkids ages 10-19. Our plan had each family choosing daytime activities and each family preparing one dinner. The larger main kitchen allowed us to all eat together. Kayaks were frequently used, s’mores were made over the bonfire near the water and the view was enjoyed by all. The teens loved watching their movies upstairs while adults played games downstairs. 16 happy people!“
