We planned this trip to celebrate many life events, a graduation, a military homecoming, and just life itself. The property did not disappoint. I donât believe the pictures do the place justice. The home was very clean. The kitchen was one of my dreams, well stocked and all appliances in working order. The beds were very comfortable and fitting for the ambiance of the house. The hot tub was so inviting and had amazing views of the mountains. On our third night there we had elk come right in the driveway and just hangout! It was amazing to watch the moms and babies from the safety of an elevated deck! Two of the bathrooms are outdated but I donât care about that! They function and that is all that mattered. There were a couple times we had to contact the host and the replies were prompt. I highly recommend this property.
Our daughter got married in Estes Park last weekend. It was an amazing wedding! This house was the perfect size for our family. We spent a lot of time on the deck and were in the hot tub every day! The kitchen is large and we had a couple of our daughterâs friends over for dinner and it had plenty of space. The location is perfect for proximity to the Stanley, downtown Estes, and several entrances to Rocky Mountain National Park. We booked this location as soon as we knew we were having the wedding there and were not disappointed. The property contact was very prompt in responding to any questions. We will absolutely stay here again. It was a perfect centralized spot for our wedding events.
The property was great. The house has amazing views of the Rocky Mountains. Overall, the house was great somethings were a little outdated but really didn't make a difference in our stay. There is no ac in the whole house, but they do have box fans in all the rooms, so it didn't get to warm. I think the only thing i would say is the master windows do not have window coverings covering the whole windows, lots of the light in the morning. The house is close to town so that was really nice. We saw lots of elk in the yard which was amazing. Overall, we would highly recommended the property.
We were looking for a house close to RMNP that was big enough for our family, that also had a hot tub. This spot checked all those boxes and also had an amazing view of the mountains out the back. 4bd/3bath were perfect. We had deer and elk hanging out in the backyard. Itâs 1-2 minutes from DT Estes Park and 5ish minutes to the park. After a day of hiking the hot tub was amazing. The WiFi was good enough to hold zoom meetings. Only negatives were minor. 2 bathrooms were old, with low counter and toilet. Which probably not a big deal for most people. There was a woodpecker going wild on one side of the house. But overall this house had what we needed and we really enjoyed ourselves.
from the moment you walk it the house it's Amazing my family truly had a remarkable vacation & we will be back next year !!every room is unique, seen elk in the backyard 3 mornings, hot tube & the mountain views breathtaking
Stayed here for a guys weekend. It was perfect. Location was near the heart of Estes Park. Views were outstanding. Property was well kept and allowed for a very relaxing weekend. Highly recommend staying here for friends weekend or couples trip.
We loved our time here! The space was enough for our group to hang out comfortably and truly relax. The outdoor deck area and hot tub were big hits. Who doesnât love sitting out on a mountain deck with a beverage and a blanket watching the storm roll in? Absolutely amazing! The house was well stocked and clean. I read precious. Moments about bein
The location of this spacious home cannot be beat! It is just minutes away from downtown Estes Park and the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. While dated, the house is large and comfortable and well stocked with kitchen necessities, towels, etc. The icing on the cake was spending evenings watching the sunset over the mountains from the hot tub and watching rabbits and turkeys cross the yard.
My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary from Sept.12-19, 2024. The house is a little older, but the kitchen and one of the bathrooms have been remodeled and are very nice. The other rooms are still nice, but they are dated. The hot tub was wonderful and we got in it every day and watched deer, elk and turkeys walk through the back yard. The only thing I didn't like was that the house does not have central heat and air. It does have a mini split unit in the dining room, but it is not enough to keep the whole house comfortable. The bedrooms all had box fans and wall heaters. We were there when the temperature would get up into the 80s during the day and drop down in the 30s at night. It wasn't that bad and the house never got really hot or really cold, but I am just used to setting the thermostat to one temperature and the whole house stays comfortable. That would not stop me from staying in this house again and it is in a great location. You can be in downtown Estes in less than 5 minutes, but you felt like you were in a pretty secluded area.
Only positive things to say about this house, the neighborhood, and accessibility to Rocky Mountain National Park. Perfectly comfortable house with well equipped kitchen. Short distance to downtown Estes Park. Very nice hot tub on deck and from the deck we watched deer and elk. We would consider this house a preferred location for when we return to this area.
Our thanks to the owner for sharing this property âŠ
Nice location. House and property overall could use some TLC. Some dated amenities. No central AC or ceiling fans, box fans available. Back deck had some broken patio chairs.
We loved the location of this home, its views & wildlife in the area and the hot tub was a plus after long hikes. The home could use some updates but we were very comfortable, the place was clean and we really enjoyed our stay.
We stay in Estes every year. This property is big enough for our family and close to everything. We had some wildlife wander through the property which is always fun.
The property provided exactly what we needed. We had 3 adult couples. We had a quick drive to the park, grocery store and downtown. Secluded and very relaxing property after a long day of hiking. The upgraded kitchen was very nice and we used it a lot. Overall it was just what our family needed. The property could use a little TLC. Could use a few new pillows and lighter blankets for sleeping. I definitely would stay here again.
Very nice stay , loved it that is was so nice to town .
Big hot tub that we enjoyed every night and in the morning.
It would be nicer if it was remolded in some places but was still a very nice stayed .
My grandson enjoyed it and cried because we had to leave .
We enjoyed our stay at Don's place. The check in process was very smooth. The hot tub was goant, and the highlight of the property. The rental has the essentials for kitchen and bathroom supplies, but not everything. The propery needs some TLC but overall was a nice place to stay.
