"We enjoyed staying in a historical property. The grounds were beautiful, and the pousada was perfectly situated to Evora's attractions, museums, shopping, and very high quality restaurants. The staff were friendly, and helpful, and we enjoyed the breakfast. The carpet in our room was little worn, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would recommend to other travelers."

"This place is located in pretty remote area, but it means that you can enjoy silence. The host recommended a good place to eat nearby, so it was just 2 minutes drive. Good breakfast, host were speaking German, not so much English. But we managed well. plenty of space to park"

"The staff is nice and helpful. Its location is alright and they have got a clean & cozy lounge where people can do their things. The bathrooms were in mantainance but the ones behind the kitchen were available. Kitchen facility and free breakfast were also ok. I stayed two nights in a female dorm, which shares the entrance with another dorm. It is kind of a weird half-open space, and somehow whoever goes in or out just bangs the door. "The first night was terrible. They didn't have the portable air conditioner hooked up and so it was very hot. Finally I had to open a window which was also terrible. There's a 24-hour food kiosk across the street and bands of students were standing in front of it and yelling until 3:00 a.m. . The second night was not a weekend and they hooked up the air conditioner and it was fine. I gave a medium review because one night was terrible and one night was good."
