„Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten eine tolle Woche. Das Haus entspricht der Beschreibung und den Bildern. Allerdings liegt es sehr nah an der Straße, so dass der Verkehrslärm etwas störend wirken kann. Im Garten hätten wir uns ein paar Blümchen gewünscht.“

„The house was mostly comfortable but needs some upkeep. The communication with the host was a challenge and they did not reply to most messages (even an acknowledgment of receipt would be okay). One of the showers we could not adjust the temperature, 2 of the showers had mold. One of the biggest challenges was trying to cook as the cookware is very worn and some of it unusable. „Stayed fir 3 nights. With 10 adults. Lovley big house. Plently of room Comfortable beds. Some paintwork a.bit.shabby which was a shame. Only down side was it stated a clockroom i thought that.meant a downstairs toilet but it was just a place eto hang coats. This was difficult as some of the party was eldery and found the stairs difficult to navigate, butmon the whole we had a great.time.“

„The Counting House had everything we (family of 4) were looking for - enough space for everyone, clean, well equipped and some lovely personal touches. The location on the Market Square in Belford was perfect for the 20m sprint to the Black Swan and the only slightly longer trip to the Coop.
