  • La maison Cedar Cove n'est que cela, une belle crique sur le lac Rough River. Beaucoup à proximité des restaurants. À seulement trois kilomètres, vous aurez accès à une petite piste d'atterrissage, au lodge Rough River State Park et à une marina où des locations de bateaux et des rampes sont disponibles. Asseyez-vous sur le pont et profitez de regarder les enfants sauter du quai dans des eaux bleues claires, détendez-vous le soir dans le marais rôti moelleux au foyer le soir.

The host was responsive and so flexible with us because we had our campground cancelled last minute due to the water levels. The house was nice and as described in the listing. The proximity to the water made it easy to pull our boat up to shore and load up. Everything about the place was perfect and we're already starting to plan our trip for next year!

Great house and location. Plenty of amenities and the views were breathtaking. The water is just a few steps from the house.Only drawback was that the boat dock for the rental was inoperable and we had a boat. Otherwise 10/10.

This was our second year in a row staying with our family and it was just as nice this year as last. Even with lots of rain while there, the back screened in porch provided a wonderful place to play games and listen to the rain hit the roof while still being able to see the lake. Our son was able to catch some fish down at the shore and it's close enough to everything we needed while there. The owner is super responsive and the house was very clean. We'll definitely be back!

The home is spacious, clean, and welcoming! We had a wonderful weekend stay with our family of 8. Nice enclosed deck upstairs, a big deck downstairs, and plenty of table/seats. Everyone’s bed had clean sheets, towels smelled fresh and clean, and bathrooms were spotless. The listing was spot on to what we were expecting. Will consider this place again in the future! Thank you, again.

The house was clean, parking easy. It was located close to everything we planned. Unfortunately, both decks were dirty and cluttered. Observation...the bar stools in the kitchen are really squeeky, and feel unstable.

Exactly what we needed

Fantastic place and location. This was exactly what my family was looking for in a weekend trip to the lake. We are already checking our schedule for a return trip.

We had a great stay. However, upon arrival, we found busted water balloons out back along with cigarette butts from the previous stay I assume. There was poison ivy/oak all over around walkways, trees, decking, fire pit was not utilized due to the amount in that area. Someone to spray the vines would be great. Sheets on one of the beds upstairs had stains on them so they weren't slept on. There was a bad smell outside that either came from trash bins or sewer. I wish the lake view was little better but not a deal breaker.The home was very clean, had a screened in porch and everything else we needed except a blender. Kayak's were available for use and were great! We saw a deer in the neighbors yard. Host was wonderful to deal with as well. She was prompt and kept me in the loop about the water level and checked on us after our stay. I recommend Happy Jack's Winery! Very friendly and very good wines! All in all, I'd stay there again!

Perfect Place to Stay

My family had a great time! The place is clean and in a great location on the lake. The walk from the house to the dock is easy. We have been coming here for 3 years and will be back again next summer!

Great Weekend

Our family had a great time. We kayaked, hung out around the fire, and enjoyed playing cards in the screened in porch. The house was clean and had everything we needed. A great place to relax.

Perfect for a family weekend

This was the perfect house for three generations traveling together. The location was great, with its access to the lake. We enjoyed taking out the provided kayaks, making s’mores in the fire pit, and relaxing on the screened in porch.

Awesome

We loved this house and property, plenty of room for four adults and three children. We swam in the water right off the property and also in the nearby beach. The kids enjoyed making smores in the fire pit and catching frogs. Our stay was very fun, relaxing and quiet.

We had a wonderful time taking a family vacation at this home. We had 7 adults and 3 children and had plenty of space. The screened in porch was our favorite feature, but everything else was also wonderful! The ease down to the lake was great and we caught a few bluegill right off the bank. The other plus was the location to the state park where we rented a boat and heard some live music. Would definitely book again! Thanks for a great extended weekend getaway at the lake.

Annual Labor Day/Birthday Weekend

Perfect location!!! We loved the house and the closeness to the lake with dock. Very spacious and very clean. The owner went way over and beyond for us and was easy to get ahold of. We are hoping this house will be our new house for Labor Day weekend!!! Thank you!

Relaxing weekend

We didn’t get to use the house much or even walk down to the lake. We mostly had coffee in the morning and just slept there because we were busy at our cousin’s house and the state park for our annual family reunion. The house was perfect for the 4 of us and we didn’t even need one bedroom or the downstairs. We would stay again!

The home was spacious, comfortable and well furnished. The two decks offered lovely views of the lake. There is abundant wildlife and we enjoyed the relaxing sights and sounds (cranes and deer feeding in the yard). We watched a young fisherman catching fish right from the shoreline.Unfortunately due to the high water levels, the walk into the water was mucky and difficult to maneuver. Normal water levels should make it a completely different experience. The location is on a nice quiet end of a street and a calm and quiet cove area on the lake.
