„We loved the Ecolodge de Simal. It's really off the beaten track (quite literally so), but once you get there, the location is wonderful: right on the water. We were there for three nights. The food was plentiful, fresh, and tasty; the free activities (like a excursion en pirogue) was wonderful; the pool is chlorinated and clean; the rooms are rustic with open air bathrooms and toilets, but comfortable; the housekeeping good; the bar/restaurant staff friendly. „This was a rustic lodge on an island off the coast from Missirah. Despite challenges finding the boat launch and getting the pirogue to take us to the lodge, we had a good stay. The hostess, Kiki, was warm and inviting. The property felt a bit tired (I think many properties in rural Senegal have this from the lack of tourists during the pandemic restrictions), the place had a number of activities to try.
