« The host was super responsive, polite, and gracious. It was a quiet neighborhood. This is the basement of an occupied home, so you can hear some, but no issues with excessive noise. Area was clean and welcoming. I shared this with the host, but there was no fridge. Latoya gave me access to hear wine chilling unit almost immediately to meet my needs- so appreciated. I would need a "real fridge," but would otherwise stay againThanks, Latoya! »

« We had an amazing stay! This was perfect for transporting our soldier to his AIT at Fort Lee. It is 5.3 miles from the base, so we were granted a Family Pass for the weekend. This is a nice quiet neighborhood. There is a Food Lion right down the street, and a nice backyard for grilling and chilling with our Soldier. Wilcox Lake is close by too for Fishing! There are window units for AC, but they do a great job at keeping the house nice and cool. The Corn Hole was a big hit! And all the TVs were...

« Very quiet, although we were initially and then sporadically met with the sound of gunshots during our stay. But the house was well sound proofed, so we weren't bothered while we were inside. The porch was fantastic, and the lake was great for swimming. »

« This is a great, well appointed property in an easy to access location. The home was clean and neat, though we’d recommend fewer air fresheners as those aggravated some allergies. The front porch is great for morning coffee, and the quaint backyard was a lovely place for dinner. The home has everything you need; we’ll definitely consider staying again if we are in the area! »

« Super cool hideaway in a small, but neat historic town. Stayed because our daughter was graduating from Ft. Lee and we had dogs. This place was close to base and has a gated backyard for the dogs. Outdoors: super convenient location within walking distance to tons of restaurants, and an amazing coffee shop right out the back door! We got lucky and they had a community festival right down the road with food trucks, live and DJ music, and ended the night with fireworks we watched from the...

« We had a real enjoyable time, and everything was as advertised. I enjoyed walking down to the river, and we sat on the porch for beautiful sunsets. The cabin was nice and clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. It was extremely hot outside during our stay. Thank you so much for everything! »

« Really neat experience. Beautiful sunset! The owner met us there and showed us on the boat for a tour. Even offered to let us use the “party” deck on their other boat a couple slips away. Super nice couple. The interior had a warm and cozy vibe. Fast internet. I have not one complaint. »

« Great spot one of the nicest spots I’ve stayed in. 20 minutes from Richmond great restaurants in the area. Super clean right near the river James. If we ever go back to that area again, I will definitely look to stay at this house. »

« We had a wonderful stay at this property. If you want sleek, modern, and quiet, this is not the place for you. But if you want charming, cozy, and comfortable, this is your spot. « We really enjoyed our Memorial Day Weekend wedding celebration. The home was clean and well appointed with essentials as well as creature comforts. »

« Everything was accurate with the listing. The only thing that was an issue was parking for three cars forced us into the neighbors area on the street since the drive way was inconvenient and off a main road. The yard gate was loose and off centered which was solved by us wrapping rope to prevent our dogs from leaving but may be an issue for less prepared individuals. »
