We spotted so much wildlife—our first glimpse of a partially white deer, turtles along the road, and birds serenading us daily. The summer garden, lush with ferns, adds a magical touch to the cabin's charm. We can’t wait to return and experience the beauty of a different season.“

„We had a phenomenal time at Alan’s mountain home. We skied 2 days, we easily walked to the lift and came home for lunch and went back out. It is so nice to not have to get in your car with the gear. The house is huge and had everything we needed. We had 3 families with young children and we all slept well, felt safe and made amazing family memories. „My husband and I visited for our anniversary. The cabin is lovely - beautifully renovated, thoughtfully outfitted, and situated in a lovely forested setting. The king-sized bed was the most comfortable bed that I have slept on away from home. The hot tub uses a saltwater system which is so much more pleasant than the usual chlorine/bromine systems found in most hot tubs...easier on the skin and respiratory system. We were very pleased with our experience and definitely plan to return to this ...

„My husband and I stayed in this charming little cabin for the weekend. It is perfect for just 2 people. The cabin only has one sink (the kitchen sink) and the refrigerator is small but that was ok since it was just the two of us. The cabin is in a private setting, and we truly felt secluded from the rest of the world. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and listening to nature. We would definitely stay again!“

„This cottage was exactly what my partner and I needed. It was beautiful and private. Sitting on the back deck and watching the squirrels and birds was so nice. My partner liked shooing the squirrels away from the bird feeder. The hosts provided almost everything, all you needed was food. Having a campfire every night was so precious to us and helped us connect. The grate for the campfire is an excellent touch, making food on the fire a breeze. The only thing that i would tell others is watch out ...

„This property was really lovely. Not too far from town and its shops and restaurants, but very private at the cabin. My partner and I were looking to get out of the city and away from people for a few ways, and this was perfect! The bed is comfortable, the kitchen well outfitted, and the out door spaces (hot tub, porch and fire pit) were very nice. The host provided all the information we needed to have a successful trip.“

„Outstanding property was just what the doctor ordered for a rejuvenating time of R&R. Clean and comfortable, all of the amenities—including the hot tub— made for a lovely stay. “

„Cabin was lovely in a secluded spot. Close to Cacapon park hiking, horseback riding, and shotgun shooting. Also Morgan County Observatory was close. Of course Berkley Speings was nice too! Rounded out each day in the hot tub!“
