The Woods

« This cabin needs a LOT of care. It was OK for our purposes, because we just needed a place to sleep more than anything, but if we were actually looking to "vacation" or "rest and relax" it left a lot to be desired--especially regarding upkeep and how it was furnished 1. Our sheets had HOLES in them! 2. No toiletries, other than body wash in the bathroom 3. No bath mat 4. Insufficient towels 5. Not enough dishes or mugs 6. No sponge for washing dishes, or anything to clean and wipe down...

« The structure was good but it's a lot darker inside than expected, even with all the lights turned on. There is a lot of junk in the woodshed and in the yard that lent the entire property the feeling of being rundown. Also, there's a lot more cleaning that could be done. There were cobwebs all around the outside of the door and the front porch which could be cleaned up with one quick brush. Also, and I fully understand that it is an animal friendly property, but the smell of wet dog was so...

« The house was perfect for three adults, a toddler, and a baby. The children loved dancing within the screened in porch, and playing outside in the back yard. We saw family of deer and geese during our stay as well. All rooms were clean and the furniture was comfortable. We especially loved the stocked kitchen, and the beautiful dining table. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful property! »

Quality Inn Harpers Ferry - Charles Town

10/10 Excellent

Travelodge by Wyndham Winchester

8/10 Bien
