« Ûne belle maison de caractère et de charme. Lancien dans un cottage au bord de mer. Un hébergement atypique mais qui dispose de tout. Tres bonne literie. Tout ce qu'il faut pour cuisiner en famille. Le plus, montée sur le chemin ( digue aménagée) et regarder le couché ou le lever du soleil. Le bruit des vagues la.nuit, c'est magique avec parfois la amisô qui vibre sus leur force dans la digue. »

« It was a great little getaway, and we could imagine in summer it would be even nicer being able to enjoy the outdoor picnic spots by the pond. We arrived late in the day and were quite peckish, so enjoying a beautiful fresh loaf of bread, butter and cheese that greeted us when we arrived was lovely - along with a bottle of wine for later and a ginger beer for our young one. Even though we came in winter, the West Coast scenery and atmosphere never disappoints, and the house was lovely and...

« A bit of a surprise to find we (4) were sharing the house with the owners, plus a Canadian. We had thought that our 4 were going to have a bedroom each, as per the BookaBach description of the property. Two guys had to share a room.The owners were a delightful, very helpful Chinese couple, who made us welcome and accommodated our Ebikes in their garage to recharge. »

« Nice clean property with decent view of ocean. Has amazing sunsets. Recommend owner add scrubber sponge for dish washing, more hand towels, and dish towels. Also recommend better labels on rubbish, recycle and compost bins because it was a total guess on how to distribute waste. Very good remote property, some highway noise but limited to occasional vehicles. Would definitely stay there again. »

« Bach is located right by the Kawatiri trail, with cafe/restaurant across the road. The bach is small but warm and comfortable, with everything you need, and a great shower! »

« Super well stocked off grid cabin, overlooking a valley. Hammocks and bbq on deck with lots of cooking supplies. Cabin is beautifully decorated with books and games. Trails down to the river and a beautiful look out spot! Sunset - gorgeous! Really loved it! Host warm and friendly and has a home close by. One of my favorite stays on the South Island! »

« Traveling with my parents and weren’t sure how they would like staying in a yurt but they loved it! More lux than I would’ve imagined! Lovely view of the Tasman sea, as well as a walkway along the cliffs and one down to the sand. We got there right as the sun was setting and it was beautiful. Definitely recommend getting there before sunset to be able to relax and watch it. Super amazing stargazing of the milky way at night! We only stayed one night, if we had more time on our trip we would have...
