« The heater did not work so house was freezing. Fireplace did not appear to be working, and wood was wet and did not burn. Bed was not comfortable. Hot tub was gross and did not work. Sauna did not get hot. The pictures looked better than the actual experience. »

« Gorgeous home! Perfect location. Easy access to Heavenly Village and state parks surrounding Lake Tahoe. However, the hot tub was locked and there was no outdoor seating other than 1 picnic table. Multiple beautiful expansive decks and spacious backyard, yet nowhere to sit except one picnic table on only 1 of the 4 decks and nothing in the yard. « The B&B was set in an idyllic setting in the country side. The cottage was new, very clean, well appointed and comfortable. The included breakfast was delicious and had nice variety of goodies. Hosts were responsive and communicated well. Highly recommended! »

« Lazy Bear Lodge is a great West Shore place for summer activities; ideal for spending days at Meeks, Chambers, or heading up to float the Truckee. Kitchen had everything we needed. The front seems pretty hemmed in by the neighbors but the back of the property opens up to the woods. We got to see a bear and her two cubs roll past one evening which was exciting for the kids.
