« Loved our stay here, close to everything and we even got a little fishing in on our trip. Only negative is that since I am allergic to dogs and with them being as pet friendly as they are (I didn't see this when booking), I had some issues with my face swelling after sleeping in the bed. Some of the carpets also smelled like animal urine... but other than that, we absolutely loved it here. »

« Amazing 3-night stay! The A-frame is perfect- decorated beautifully and so cozy & comfortable with everything we needed. Mornings and evenings by the fire were wonderfully relaxing and there is nothing like an outdoor shower. It’s also perfectly situated between Keene Valley (which will always have my heart) and Lake Placid (and my favorite stretch of route 73 by Upper and Lower Cascade Lakes). « I recently had the pleasure of staying in this charming cabin. The location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by nature and by the Ausable river. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Scot was incredibly welcoming and provided us with helpful information about the area, including great hiking trails and local attractions. « Very peaceful and tranquil property. Minutes from whiteface mountain and you get to take in all the snowy views. We were lucky enough to have a snowstorm the night we stayed and it was a winter wonderland. The amenities were great and Steve was very responsive. »

« Beautiful property and it was just what we needed to relax with the family for the weekend. The view of the lake was amazing! I just wish there was another ac unit in the 2nd bedroom it was hot and humid at night. But we stuck it out. I had no idea there was no soaps in the bathroom we made a trip to the small stores locally. But it had everything we needed for the amount of time. We left some wood for the next guest to enjoy as there was none there. »

« Chalet rustique très confortable tranquille avec une vue superbe sur le lac. La baignable n’ est malheureusement pas possible devant le chalet car beaucoup d’algues. Nous avions trouvé un petit coin à 3 minutes en auto pour faire du paddle board et se baigner. »

« The property is located next to the owner, who's a landscaper, so there are a lot of trailers and equipment scattered in the driveway next to the rental. There's a dock, but you won't be able to put your boat there as the owner's boat is occupying it. The place is old but did the job. It's very well located »
