« This place is fabulous. A well built and well appointed cozy cabin, which was perfect for our stay while visiting the California coast and redwoods. The decorations and artwork were charming, the small kitchen functioned very well, and the quiet location was excellent. We also enjoyed the moon viewing in the clearing, as well as the ability to see the sunset from the platform near the road.All told, this is one of the best places we have stayed in a long while, and would gladly do so again. »

« I would step into this marvelous apartment- if I could step back in time! I was amazed at how beautiful and all the attention to detail. Perfect wall paper, Oriental carpets and so much more. A bit of a backstory. I made another reservation on VRBO and that other owner cancelled (shame on you Margo.). There I was at the last minute on graduation weekend with no where to stay. « Such a cool space! Set right in the heart of Humboldt's famous redwoods, but only a quick drive to town (Fieldbrook, Blue Lake especially) and SUPER peaceful. We had plenty of floor space for my bestie to set up an air mattress as well. Hosts were super friendly and accommodating - would love to come back again sometime soon! »

« The house was a perfect size for the two of us. We loved the private location in the woods but not far from the hikes we took every day. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a 5 day stay. »

« Cute vintage feel to the house with modern amenities. Easy walk to the beach with miles of beach walking. Fenced yard was a real plus for traveling with our dog. Easy access to local towns of Arcata and Eureka for dining and shopping. And of course conveniently located for exploring the redwood forest, the real reason for our visit.This is a real gem and we will return if in the area for the future. »
