„We had an excellent family stay here. The house was perfect for our family of 8 adults and 7 children (4 to 17). Clean, spacious, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and trampoline and swings for the kids. “

„Nettes, sauberes und zweckmäßiges Motel in Whangarei. Zimmer sind geräumig, zu den im Obergeschoss liegenden muss man allerdings die Koffer über die Treppen schleppen.“

„I travelled with my granddaughter and we stayed 10 days in Janice' wonderful and well-equipped apartment (1 separate bedroom. The unit sleeps for all in all). The kitchen was stuffed with almost everything necessary and it was a great experience to all cooking outside on the shaded veranda (induction cooker and gas grill).Janice and her family gave us a very warm welcome. „Accommodation was great. Nice and quiet surroundings. Kayaks were included in the price. Well equipped. Only towels and linen you needed to bring. It depends on the people who used it before if there is soap and rubbish bags, etc. available or not. Fruit trees to use :) Fast and good comminication with the host.“

„ The bath was absolutely stunning!!—easily one of the highlights of the trip, was also surprised by hot water for tea, the crackers on the table, hummus AND with the Whitakers chocy bar in the fridgeThere was plenty of space to stretch out and relax, both inside and out, with thoughtful design touches throughout. And that canopy bed!! A dream!Was comfortable, private and relaxing—highly recommend :)“

„Zentral gelegenes Hotel, Strandnähe. Nahe gelegene Restaurant „The Cove Cafe“ ist sehr zu empfehlen. Apartment war gut ausgestattet, mit kleiner Terrasse. Pool und Whirlpool wurden umgehend zur (exklusiven) Nutzung zur Verfügung gestellt. Sehr herzlicher Empfang durch Sally, superfreundlich und hilfsbereit. “

„Die Ferienwohnung besteht aus einem kombinierten Schlaf-/Wohnraum mit offener Küche und einem Duschbad. Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet (Waschmaschine vorhanden), Dusche/WC mit Pflegeprodukten, sieht beides sehr neu und gepflegt aus. Schöne Terrasse mit Gartenmöbeln, Sonnenschirm und tollem Blick aufs Wasser (wenn es da ist ;-) Sogar ein Kanu wird gestellt. Parken auf dem Grundstück. Lage ist etwas außerhalb von Whangarei, aber mit dem Auto kein Problem. Dafür ist die Natur mit Wanderwegen etc. ...

„It’s a run down bach! The pictures look great but unfortunately the accommodation is not! Not only the garden needs to take care of. The bathroom especially the shower is moldy. The top of the fridge was super sticky. It might be a good backpacking accommodation but not the one we expected looking at the pics. We decided not to stay there and left the place. „Me and my three girl friends (age 20) stayed in the cottage for one night as part of our road trip, it was very homely, clean and welcoming! Very well stocked with cooking facilities, books and tv! We had a lovely stay, would definitely recommend thanks so much! “

„Good locality, handy to beach and walking distance to shops. Plenty of books and games to keep entertained on a wet day. Very comfortable bed and quiet neighbourhood. My 4 year old grandson loved the cats and Annete and Robbie! so friendly. “

"Overall good hotel right at the water. We had a room without sea view, quiet with parking directly in front of the room. Bed was super comfy, however the room could've had a little more thought put into it. There were no electrical outlets next to the bed, plus the switch for the night stand lights could not be reached when lying in bed. The windows could not be closed, so we had bugs inside. The bathroom did not have a fan to expel the moist air, which causes problems on the ceiling. In addition to that, the joints in the shower could use some extended cleaning or replacement. Overall good (8/10) but some room for improvement."

"Es war modern und sauber. Wir hatten das behindertengerechte Apartement, was wir eigentlich nicht brauchten. Dafür war es das einzige mit einer abgetrennten eigenen Terasse. Leider waren uns die Betten viel zu hart - andere mögen das evtl. 2 große Einkaufsmärkte sind in der Nähe und gut zu Fuß zu erreichen."
