« This property is in the location for us that was central to all the Upper Pennisula activities we wanted to do during our stay. It made our vacation very convenient. The grocery store is walking distance from the house - so getting what we needed was easy. »

« The cabin was clean and located centrally for the places we wanted to visit. We would book again and the host was great. »

« I guess this could pass as a campsite. If you don’t mind being surrounded by trailers and storage vehicles on the side of a busy rural highway. If you are looking for an up north Mi camping experience you are hereby forwarned this is not the most scenic campsite! Not mad, just disappointed.But everyone’s gotta make a buck I guess. We decided to not stay the night and instead made the 6 hour trek home a day early. »

« Perfect spot for UP activities. It was a great central hub for our trip. »

« We had an amazing stay at Hidden Haven with 4 adults, 1 toddler, and 1 dog! You can’t beat the location: we got to wake up to Lake Superior views, hear the waves crashing overnight, and could walk a few minutes up the road and be on the North Country Trail for trail runs and hiking. Everything was super clean and comfy and we had everything we needed to have a great few days. Looking forward to a repeat visit in the future! »

« Great piece of property and very clean »

« Clean and cute, and just right for 3 of us to be based out of when we hiked at Pictured Rocks. Boomer was very friendly and told us the story of how the cabins came to be. Seney itself was quiet with not much happening, but a good place to sleep between Grand Marais and Munising. »

« The room was clean and in a good location. The bathroom floor was terrible. The tiles were lifting and stuck to your feet. »

« It was easy to find and settle in. The only "complaint" that I would have is there is a tree growing from the beach and blocking the view from the chairs. We had a great view of the lake through sunset and moon rise, and the sunrise proved the name Paradise. »

« Simple and clean, but the idea that this sleeps 4 is really pushing it. There was only 2 of us, so it was ok, but the “couch” is a cubicle type couch that opens in to what can roughly be called a double bed. There were no sheets for it, but the owner did respond right away and brought one flat sheet. He told us fitted sheets don’t fit the couch. It’s a decent place, but we stayed in 3 other places for much less that were much better. This is not worth what they charge a night. »

« This cozy little cabin in Grand Marais was clean, comfortable, and made for a great home base while exploring the area. We also appreciated that it allowed our two dogs, which made traveling much easier.We’d definitely stay here again. The only reasons we’re giving it 4 instead of 5 stars are that it’s about a 1.5-mile drive to the waterfront (rather than an easy walk), and the cabin uses well water that has a very orange color, so we’d recommend bringing your own drinking water.Overall, it was...

« The BEST place we’ve ever stayed!! Every room was spotless and so cozy! There was so much space for our family and so many things for kids to do. From board games, to the garage game room, to outside exploring. You won’t ever get bored here. Also, a quiet nice area that if you wanted to just relax the whole time, it’s perfect for that as well. « We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Everything was clean, cozy, and the owner clearly puts in a lot of effort and care into this place. There’s plenty of sleeping space and parking (we had one couple and two single adults, two cars), lots of indoor activities to do for the family (games, pingpong, etc), full kitchen, and the washer dryer was perfect for after our hike earlier that day in the rain. « Property was nice. It was surface level clean. There was pretty severe obvious water damage in both bathrooms with visible mold. As a family that needs to be careful around mold, seeing this was disappointing. It was a comfortable house, dated, but comfortable. Lots of space for a family. Close to main attractions. One thing to note, there are close neighbors, so if you are looking for space/ seclusion, this house does have close neighbors you will hear their dogs/lawn mowers / leaf blowers....
