« My wife and I don’t enjoy beIng in a commercialized place for vacations so we were told about dauphin island and we found this place and it looked peaceful so we decided to give it a shot. The week we were there it was so quiet and peaceful. We got rested up only wishing we could have stayed a couple more days, and we decided that we weren’t cooking all week and we found the fresh seafood to be a real treat. We would both recommend this house and beach area unless you’re into night life then...

« Our stay was for 9 days. The house was spotlessly clean.It’s very comfortable with many ammenities, especially in the kitchen. A drawback is that there’s no interior dining table. The outdoor picnic table is good, as long as it’s not raining. The kitchen counter indoors seats only 2, so that’s a drawback.There was a huge, violent storm our fourth night that knocked out power and internet to the entire island.Power was restored quickly, but we were without internet for 5 days, although friends...

« Perfect home for family and friends ! It is on the bay side - which was perfect location for smaller grandkids. The gulf side was very rough and would have been unsafe w smaller kids ! The bay side was perfect ! Also ordered pizza from pirates pizza and had delivered ! Perfect for after long day at the beach ! »

« We had a wonderful stay at Ain’t Life Grand! This was our first time on the bayside rather than the gulf, and we loved it. The calm, shallow waters and little beach area were perfect for our kids. We enjoyed daily walks along the shoreline, and the golf cart made it easy to explore the island and visit the gulf side, just down the road.The house was very clean, and the upper deck—accessible from both the living room and bedrooms—was a favorite spot for our family to relax.
