« Our stay at the four bedroom log cabin was wonderful. We were in town for my son’s graduation from VT and this house was perfect for our family. The kitchen was great and well stocked, the beds comfortable, the bathrooms were very nice! Loved the large outdoor deck with a huge wrap around couch. We enjoyed eating dinner outside on the deck! « Appreciated the property and proximity to downtown. Neighborhood at first may appear rough, but it is quiet. »

« We initially chose this property because it was a halfway meeting point for three couples. The accommodations exceeded expectations. The layout of the living room and kitchen provided a nice flow for all to hangout. We brought kayaks and bikes and spent time exploring the river as well as the local trails. We even brought our cat who enjoyed sitting on the porch and window sills. The only thing we wish we could change was the size of the two first floor bedrooms. A little small but not a deal...

« This property is beautiful and the house is wonderful. It is very important that anyone who stays here is aware of the steepness of the driveway! My car could not make it up. I had read the reviews that warned me and I just thought they were over reacting. They were not. I had to haul my stuff in from half way up because my car could not make it any farther up. If you have kids or are traveling with anyone with a disability, make sure you have a good four wheel drive! That being said, it...

« Pictures and descriptions are accurate. Was the perfect set up for 3 of us to get out and do some fishing on the lake. Great outdoor sitting space in a quiet cove. Simple and relaxing spot, which is exactly what we were looking for. Had a great time during our stay. »

« It was a perfect arrival in Virginia. We needed a quiet place to rest and recover after a cross county move and this did not disappoint.
