« The house is as pictured. There was plenty of sleeping space for my family of 5. The beds were comfortable. It is an older house that has been updated, so there are small issues like water pressure and cosmetic eyesores. It's the best house in the neighborhood, but many of the surrounding homes are in disrepair. »

« We had a nice stay in the Lily Pad! The kids loved running around through the maze of doors. It was fun to have the deck out over the water. We all slept comfortably. It is right next to the highway and that made me a little nervous with my little kids so I made sure I was very aware of where they were. »

« We came to West Monroe for a week. We had kids and this beats a hotel any day. You have laundry, 1.5 baths, a full kitchen, wifi, it seems like a safe neighborhood and right close to anything you want in town. Living room has a door into hallway which you can close and bedrooms stay real quiet. Loved that! Beds and bathrooms were clean. We would stay here again if something takes us to West Monroe. « I stayed at the Mitchell House 45 days as I was completing work before moving from the state. It was well-suited to my needs and close to my office, stores, and more. I enjoyed the quirkiness of the old house - its back screen door that slammed, the smooth wooden floors, the old doors with glass knobs and the screened-in porch.
