„Great location. We stayed in summer and it was very warm in the house. They told us there was a window unit but we never found it. Smoke detectors started going out around 11:30 one night. Are hardwired in so couldn’t take all the way off so just had to hear the beep. When we arrived the keypad wouldn’t work so had to use a key. Great location and really cool property. If it was cool at night it could be a perfect place. “

„My sister and I stayed here for the Fourth of July week. The house is exactly as advertised. Exceptionally clean, well stocked, beautifully decorated... We loved how comfortable the beds were, we enjoyed the fire pit, we enjoyed how close the house was to Silverlake, but yet we felt secluded in our own little wooded area.Highly recommend! Would come back again and again.. thank you!! “

„Our family group of 13 had a greater time at this house. Lots of room. nice deck, beautiful kitchen, kayaks, fire pit, pool and air hockey, walk to a gorgeous beach. We enjoyed many nearby activities - dune riding, tubing and kayaking, horseback riding, dairy farm tour, fishing excursion. A wonderful time being together!“

„This was a very nice home right on Bass Lake. we started our day on the back porch sipping coffee and watching a muskrat in the lake. Bortell’s was a very short drive. Downtown Pentwater was very close. We drove and walked to a beach access point on Lake Michigan. Managing temperature in the house was very difficult, there is central heat and maybe a stand alone A/C unit. we were able to open windows to keep things cool part of the day, but in the heat of summer it might be tough to stay ...
