The path behind the neighboring house to the public beach access meant that access to the beach was as good as a walkway directly to the beach. The only downside was the air conditioner broke down. The owner responded immediately with 2 mobile air conditioning units and subsequently a 3rd, which together fully cooled the house for the rest of the week. ...

„Check in/out was a breeze, the unit was clean and well stocked with most everything you could need. Downstairs area is amazing for after the beach lounging. Could use a gas grill instead of charcoal. Other than that, 5 minute walk to beach, perfect for couples and we hope to stay again! “

„My husband and I had a great stay! It was relaxing, a great location and a beautiful beach area. We enjoyed sitting on both decks during the day and night. We were a little concerned that it was a duplex but had no issues with neighbor noise because it was a very private set up. “

„Just love the sweet village of Swansboro, the Sunday evening concert was a great ending to nice stay, the State Rooms have best seats for Bandstand!On another note, the hair dryer does not work. I was disappointed that no TV OTHER THAN STREAMING WAS AVAILABLE. I did not bring passwords etc. Basic TV is minimal in my opinion. A special alert of this prior to departing for trip would have made me bring passwords.“

„We had the best week staying at the Posh Pelican! Michelle is a wonderful owner who was available any time we needed her! She checked in on us to make sure we didn't need anything; brought us an extra wagon to use, a new shibumi, & a little surprise for our son! The house was super clean & had everything we needed.
