1. Private Downtown Apt, King Bed, Jet Bath, Fireplace, Grill, near Indiana Dunes

Chesterton

« Wonderful stay at the downtown apartment! Had one little hiccup with the power going out but owner communicated quickly and offered a generator up, luckily it was only off for about 45 minutes. Very impressed with the responsiveness of the owner! Property was clean and smelled nice upon arrival. My only complaint is the street parking on such a busy street but apt was as described and fit our needs perfectly! »

« The property is very clean and modern. Very centrally located for adventures at the dunes. We loved our stay. The host is extremely responsive and assisted with suggestions for dinner. It took us only 5 minutes to drive to the beach area from the property which was amazing. And the host is very kid friendly. The property itself is attached to the back of a business which did throw me off a little but we had zero issue with privacy while staying. And there was zero noise issue from the...

« The property was not as described. The photographs of the living room are outdated (the furniture pictured is not present in the home), and several of the blinds in the home were broken. The VRBO photos of the yard are not even close to representing how the yard actually looks. There were two broken Adirondack chairs and some lawn furniture covered in plastic. The canopy/gazebo was lying broken in the front yard (this was not a new problem, as it was mentioned in a previous review). The yard was...

« The house was great, plenty of space for our whole family of 8 plus our combined three dogs. The rooms were as they seemed in the listing, and the whole property was very clean and the host responsive. If you intend to cook anything in the oven, you may want to bring along some disposable aluminum cookware. There were plenty of pots and pans for stove-top cooking but not much for baking and roasting. »

« Ten of us enjoyed our stay here. It was small family reunion with age range of 7 to 87. We slept very comfortably, and enjoyed each other's company in the open kitchen, on the spacious deck and gathered around the peaceful fire pit.We cooked up some great food here. The location has easy access to groceries and other attractions. This place gets 5 stars, not for being fancy and pretentious like a lot of "5 star" places, but for being a nice home-away-from-home" at a great price. I would stay...
