„In die Jahre gekommene Hemlock Lodge mitten im State Park. Am Hang gelegen und mitten im Wald, viele Vögel und Eichhörnchen aber wenig Blick. Gute Betten aber Möbiliar und Badezimmer sind alt zuweisen zahlreiche Gebrauchspuren auf. Alle Zimmer haben großen Balkon. Leider nicht allzu sauber. Im angeschlossen Restaurant gab es sowohl morgens als auch abends Buffet. Preiswert aber auch nur allenfalls durchschnittlich gut. Die Natural Bridge kann man zu Fuß in einer 3/4 Stunde erreichen. „The cabin is exactly like its pictured, clean and comfortable, directions were easy to follow. Amazing internet. Beautiful views. I would recommend just a few things for future guests. „Secluded just as advertised. Our Golden retriever was very happy with the outside grounds. Site close to multiple hiking trails. Quite and relaxing evenings. Only negatives was someone's leftover pancakes and dirty oven pan was left in oven, and the outside grill was decrepit and filthy.“

„Great little cabin. Clean, furnished, comfortable. The location is secluded and private, yet close to all Red River Gorge attractions. You will need a 4-wheel drive vehicle to get up the driveway, but that is just a minor inconvenience. If you are looking to get "off-the-grid", this is your place. Hot tub and record player were nice touches. Overall, a great place to get away.“
