« The only two downsides were a lack of WiFi and cell service (only available in the main house) and no GPS. They do send you very detailed directions, but if you are wholly unfamiliar with the area, it can be a little unsettling to be on winding roads outside of civilization with no cell service. I admittedly panicked (we drove for 12 straight hours overnight), and our friend was on the verge of declaring us missing because he couldn't get in touch with us. « The location alone is spectacular, particularly in mid-fall, though the boats are absolutely right that it's a cell phone wasteland. « Very cute and relaxing little cabin. The hot tub was a hit. We will definitely come back. »

« Great place to stay for the night, located very close to downtown Davis and Blackwater falls! It was cozy and just what we needed. The only thing that could be improved is the water temperature of the shower is very tempermental, as in you have to get it exactly in the right spot or its too hot or too cold. This is minor but something to note. We would definitely stay here again. The hostest was very responsive and I would give her 10 stars if possible. Thanks! »

« It was almost perfect. Listing title said WiFi but it didn’t have it. Other than that, we had a wonderful time. »

« Austin was a fantastic host - responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. The videos of the property were super helpful and accurately reflected the space. Our group absolutely loved this unit - it was perfect for our weekend getaway to the 4848 Festival. By far, this has been our favorite place to stay at Snowshoe. Highly recommend! »

« Love the natural beauty and atmosphere surrounding the cabin! Perfect for a relaxing get-a-way. Clean, comfortable and well stocked with the essentials. It’s a short drive to artistic shops, good eats, scenic waterfalls and great hiking trails. Looking forward to our next visit! »
