« This location is very hard to locate and defiantly requires a 4x4. It’s very remote and very rustic. The fruit trees and look out are amazing, however, getting there is not for the faint of hear. The host was super accommodating and when my Local friend had a death in the family she offered a complimentary night to help. « Beautiful location!! the host was very good at communicating. She sent us detailed directions to the house. we wish we had more time to stay, but had a great time there hanging out on the dock and in the lake. it was very close to the wedding we went for. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone »

« We travel to Metapán to visit family and usually have a fairly large group (7-10 people). We have rented Nelson's house twice now and plan do so each time we travel to Metapán. It is a beautiful, spacious house that is always clean and well kept. It has a garage large enough to accommodate the 16-person van that we rent. « I stayed at this property and had to leave a few days to a different one because there were several issues with the house. The place looses water every night around 10pm and the owner said that there was a water pump but it never worked. In addition everyone should know ahead of time that this house has its kitchen and eating area outside and in a country full of mosquito is not ideal. There are gekos outside and also inside which was not ideal there were huge roaches outside by the kitchen area...
