The host was very kind, attended to the issue to repair the washing machine.Suggestions--Remind the upstairs renters that other guests are in the apt below--it is very noisy and it seemed like both sets of upstairs guests used the washer/dryer all of the time at all hours. « Used for our 12U baseball tournament at Cooperstown Breams Park. 8 minute drive in reverse traffic. Wouldn’t classify as a luxury stay but perfect for a place to sleep while going to baseball games. Comfortable and large backyard perfect for whiffle ball games. 1 king bed with pull out sofa and air mattress. A/C was sufficient. Best part is how unique the property is with all the baseball paraphernalia on the walls. TVs are dated and not smart TVs but does have the normal local channels. Overall...

« Comfortable, great owner, a touch on the small side. Lots of plant growth over the sidewalk to the front door (& my husband is allergic to bees). Much rain created standing puddles on stairs to our entrance, so that was a bit tricky. Bedroom window had no working blinds on the bottom half, so we covered the window with newspaper so the bright light would not wake us. »

« My husband and I enjoyed the rest and relaxation in this cozy cottage in a picturesque setting. Location is about 20-30 minute (beautiful!) drive from several cute Catskill towns and Oneonta, where our son was playing baseball. We truly unplugged in this cozy home. Highlight was sitting by a fire enjoying a delicious charcuterie board/wine (go to Good Taste Epicurian Market in Franklin!). Thanks for hosting us! »

« Very clean home. Nice shower. Great response from owner. Convenient location to many venues. Limited number of kitchen tools and serving pieces if trying to serve a meal and no washcloths. One bathroom for more than 4 people requires planning. »

« We enjoyed our stay very much. The owners did a great job of communicating. The house and the property were very nice. My only critique was I found the cooktop in the kitchen to be outdated. It was fine for heating a pot but the small grates made it clumsy to cook using multiple pans. »

« This property is absolutely amazing! Waking up every morning to beautiful nature was priceless! It is very quiet and secluded, nature lovers paradise. The cabin exceeded my expectations by far. It is extremely clean and welcoming. Everything that is there was felt like it was carefully chosen. We had fire at night. Watched movies wrote bed and enjoyed every minute of our stay there.
