„We were very happy with the accommodations. The cottage was neat, clean and well kept, as was the property. All the amenities were as described. We had a great weekend and would highly recommend this lake house.“

„The property was lovely. There were extra towels and very well stocked kitchen supplies. My only complaint was the overwhelming odor after someone used the fireplace. I wish there was something to neutralize the smokey odor. Also it would be nice to have a tv in the bedrooms. At least a tv in the master bedroom. I would stay here again. “

„We saw a bevy of wikdlife. Toads, chipmunks and babies, a wild turkey, woodchuck or beaver, and deer. The views were great and the kitchen was actually quite accommodating. Book it today!“

„A delightful place. Having the lake to ourselves with magnificent views plus a property that has plenty to keep everyone active--including the very active 4 year old in our group--was amazing. Do note that the downstairs bathroom has narrow doors so mobility impaired people may not be able to access it without assistance. “

„I cant say much because i only stayed 1 night but i will say it was exactly what i needed. The place is very cute, rustic but modern. The neighborhood was very quiet. I wish i could have stayed longer and if im ever in the area i would stay there again.“

„We loved everything about this cozy cottage! It felt like home when we walked in. Place was very clean, quiet and beautiful. We stayed 3 nights, but wish we could've stayed longer. Nadia was very responsive to any questions we had prior to and during our arrival. We appreciate the extra touches and snacks...it was very warm and welcoming. I would love to come back...highly recommend!“

„This beautiful home offered plenty of space for our family of 6 adults and 2 children to enjoy a week together. “

„We stayed for a birthday weekend with a few other couples and had a great time. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and each 'area' of the house is incredibly comfortable (especially the movie theater). If you need anything there are plenty of stores close by and the area is very safe. Overall, no complaints and would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway.“

„We were not able to stay at the property but Katherine, the host, was very nice and responsive when we called for help. The email Vrbo sent with the directions to the property were not correct. It sent us to a totally different property in an entirely different location of the property we rented. We searched and searched from around 5:30 in the afternoon until about 7:30 but to no avail. It was a cold and rainy evening. We were giving up when Katherine contacted us and helped direct us to ...

„We really enjoyed totally this Candlewood lake house. it has a fantastic view and a large, beautiful lawn with a fire pit. The owner was a pleasure to work with and she even allowed us to check in a few hours early.The house is fully stocked with everything we needed. The views are fabulous, but if you bring your own boat, the property is at the tip of the lake and the water can be a little rough from other boats going by. “

"Bear Mountain State Park und die Unterkünfte overlook lodge und bear mountain inn sind traditionelle lodges mit rustikalem interior, das sehr gepflegt ist und super gut in die Umgebung passt. Die trails sind wunderbar und auch wenn man nur im den Hessian Lake wandert, hat man einen tollen Spaziergang erledigt."

"Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles war sehr sauber und daher perfekt für eine Nacht. Was uns gestört hat, ist der Zug, der sehr laut war. Die Ohrstöpsel werden an der Rezeption zur Verfügung gestellt. WLAN funktioniert zwar an der Rezeption aber nicht im Zimmer - leider."
