« This is such a unique and beautiful cottage. The cottage is spacious, charming, and beautifully presented. All the extras the host provided (soft drinks, milk, coffee, bread, etc.) were a lovely touch and made the experience even more special. « The host contacted us confirming they were not available to meet us due to travel, check in details were clear and easy to follow, unfortunately the outside cooking facility's had not been cleaned since the last guest so were unusable, the unit was clean and tidy but a kitchen sauce left in the unit had mould in the jar, this unfortunately soured our view and put us off eating at the unit. On leaving and checking our card we had been charged and extra refundable deposit that was not detailed in...

« Our group felt so cozy and homey at Fantail cottage while we explored nearby Hamilton and Hobbiton. Fiona was an excellent host and made sure we had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped and the provided milk, coffee, hot chocolate, and cereals was a nice touch. Everyones favorite part is that the shower was hot with really good water pressure! We also really enjoyed the chickens (chooks) and they seemed to like our food scraps just as much. Thank you for a lovely stay :) »
