« Our family needed a place to stay for a family gathering in a nearby town. The location was great and we loved being right on the lake. The living areas/kitchen are very spacious. Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. We wished we had more time to just hang out. Communication with the hosts was great. We will definitely stay again! »

« We had a really nice time staying at Swordfish Dog Retreat. The house was clean, well appointed, and wonderfully decorated. It is within walking distance to the downtown and the lake. The lower level was stocked with everything you need to make your dog comfy and the fenced in yard was great too! Mike and Abby were easy to contact about check in and anything else we needed. We hope to stay again in the near future. »

« Enjoyed being in Clear Lake for the Fourth of July. Clear Lake never disappoints there’s always something to do! Being able to stay altogether in one place and the convenience of the location was perfect for us. »

« The house was very clean and well stocked when we arrived. Our family reunions was at the community center in Ventura, but the Clausen house served as a gathering spot for the brothers and sisters to visit. We loved the location as it was easy to walk to plenty of entertainment and shopping. There was plenty of parking. This was our third stay at the Clausen and I am sure there will be plenty more. « I had business in town and my wife came with for the 4th. We do not have a boat but the access to the water by way of the dock was fantatic! She floatied around with the ducks for days. Property location was excellent right next to an ice cream shop. Everything we needed and more...deck..fire pit...lots of indoor space....just a nice property.
