The view sells the place. Great ocean view and sunsets. The house was nicely furnished and beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped.
The “beach access” is a bit false. There is a very large rocky ledge. You have to climb down some rocks via the neighbors property to get down to the beach, which is only accessible at low tide. This was difficult for our old, senior dog. The steps to the upstairs room are VERY steep (also not possible for a dog to get up). The house is understandably a beach house, but could use some repairs. Several windows are broken, there’s no screen door on the slider (making it harder to cool down the house). The house was clean, but could have been a bit cleaner.
Overall, we loved the view, the outdoor seating, and the fire pit. Appreciated the extra touches on arrival (beers and water in fridge) and the flexibility to get settled an hour before check in.
For anyone going on the 4th, the neighborhood loves their fireworks! They blasted fireworks all night - made for a lovely show on the water. Just FYI for anyone bringing dogs for the holiday - plan for an all-nighter of large, loud booms.
