UNE OASIS PAISIBLE AU COEUR DE FLORENCE

Le "palazzo" a été construit vers 1200. L'appartement a été entièrement rénové il y a 3 ans mais il a gardé son ancienne saveur et son caractère. Il dispose d'un salon lumineux avec de grands canapés, une table à manger, une cuisine meublée avec réfrigérateur, micro-ondes, lave-vaisselle, lave-linge, machine à filtre à café, presse française et machine à café italienne. Il y a 2 chambres avec de grands lits et 2 salles de bain complètes (une est attachée à la chambre et l'autre juste en face de la deuxième chambre), un petit balcon, climatisation dans chaque chambre, chauffage central, wi-fi gratuit,. Il est situé au 2ème étage mais il y a un ascenseur (ce qui est très inhabituel à Florence) .La décoration est un mélange de pièces anciennes, ethniques et modernes; livres d'art. Le sol et les plafonds sont en bois aux délicates couleurs pastel. Les draps et les serviettes sont fournis. Je fournis également du café, des thés, du sucre etc ...

Vous êtes en plein cœur du quartier de Santa Croce, à 5 minutes à pied des principaux sites touristiques. Il y a une épicerie à proximité et une rue pleine de cafés et de bons restaurants.

C'est aussi très calme. De bonnes nuits de sommeil sont assurées!

Wonderful home base in Florence. Great location to explore the city. The apartment had everything necessary for a comfortable and easy stay. Note the elevator is helpful but small. This isn’t a place to tote a ton of luggage but great if you’re traveling lightly.

Communicated with host great prior to arrival. When communicating prior to arrival I asked for address which she provided . Upon arrival address was incorrect and we had to wait 1 hour outside until resolved . While confirmation gas correct address no cell service where I was prevented me from confirming . Additionally shower door broken and not fixed while we were there

Pros: - Very quiet - Beautiful rooms and bathrooms - Love the showers - AC is fantastic and works great - Close to all the major sights - Elevator - Marie was so helpful and fantastic Cons: - gnats in the kitchen (brought it up to the owner and she was helpful in trying to remedy it) - Check in was incorrect on VRBO. Message Marie before your visit. The instructions were missing a part.

Charming flat, great location and lovely host.

I can’t say enough great things about this location and apartment. It is quiet and easy access to everything. I was in Florence a week before and stayed in the Savoy Hotel ( room was very small), and it was noisy at times. This apartment was so clean and spacious and very quiet. Close to grocery store, and steps away from cafes. Anytime I had a question Marie was very quick to respond. We will definitely stay here again. AC was good, in all areas of the home.

Great Location

Enjoyed staying here. Very clean, quiet, and plenty of space. Central location to the historic sites. It was a bit of a walk from the train station but we managed. Would stay here again. If you reserve the property make sure you review how to get into the apartment with the host before arriving. It’s a rather involved process.

Charming Tuscany

The apartment was spacious and had a charming Tuscan flair. The kitchen was well equipped and a good size as,was the seating area. It was situated on a quiet residental street away from the rush of people and traffic, but easily within walking distance to all the historic sights. I would definitely stay there again if in Florence

Very assessable to city center historic sites. walk to Florence

Everything very close by, we used the hop on hop off bus to get around and to go up to the beautiful city of Fiesole and had lunch. The next day we had our own walking tour that we made up and we had a wonderful day. We also found very nice places to eat. We loved Florence!

Five star perfection in Firenze

This property was fabulous. The location was absolutely perfect, 5 minute walk to the Piazza Della Signoria, 10 minutes to the Duomo. The kitchen was beautifully done with beautiful tile and plentiful glasses, espresso machine, etc. The layout was perfect for 2 couples traveling together. It was 90 degrees F during our stay but the shutters kept out the heat nicely, plus the AC worked wonderfully when we needed a bit more. The coffee shop on the corner was lovely, an operational wine window around the corner and a lovely gelateria just a few paces away. The host was lovely and communication was great. Thank you, we will absolutely be back!

Perfect place and location

Our family of 4 loved this place. More than enough room for all of us . Tons of character and all of the amenities worked without one issue. A 2 minute walk to an amazing coffee shop with pastries. 10 minutes to the main square with tons of restaurants to choose from for a drink or longer stays. Our trip was somewhat busy but wish we stayed there longer. 2 thumbs up x 4 from us all! Loved it!!

Fantastic apartment!

This was a great apartment while in Florence for our family of three! It is centrally located but on a quiet street which was appreciated after visiting Rome. The elevator was also a huge help with luggage. The apartment was very clean and cozy and after a long day, wonderful to call home! Also, she had some shower essentials & lotion that smelled spa like :) unexpected & appreciated. She offered to call a taxi when departing if given enough time, I wish we had. For some reason even with using the taxi app they advertise in Florence, it was not reliable. If available, book this apartment, you won’t regret it!

Fantastic location and lovely apartment!

Fantastic location and perfect apartment for two couples. Our host communicated excellent instructions on how to check in and provided an extensive list of places and restaurants to visit. The kitchen was well equipped; we had everything we needed for our long weekend stay. The reception room was welcoming and cozy. We enjoyed just hanging out in the evenings while drinking a nice bottle of Italian wine. We met people on a food tour who were envious of our location as they had stayed close to this apartment the year before and were unable to find a place in this neighborhood for their visit this year. Book early – this is a great little gem.

A true “Oasis”

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Florence. The apt was everything we hoped it would be. Very comfortable place to come home to after long days of sightseeing. Marie was a great host. Very friendly and helpful. We would come back again!

Perfect location with all the right stuff

What can you say about this place. Excellent location appointed all the right touches to make you feel right at home. There was a folder with recommendations which we used and they were great with restaurants and cafes. Marie was very communicative and excellent. It’s the perfect for 2 bed and 2 bath. AC was awesome for the summer weather of Florence. Would highly recommend it.

Lovely Apartment in Florence

The location was incredible. Easily walkable to everything in Florence and very comfortable. As others mentioned, along with the listing, it is on the fourth floor so be prepared to walk up some steps. There is a lift, but we did not use it. It was comfortable for 4 people with two full baths and two comfortable beds. Would definitely return!

Truly an oasis!

If you're looking for a quiet location within walking distance of all the major sites in Florence, Marie's Peaceful Oasis is it! We rarely heard any noise other than church bells. The VRBO combines modern amenities with rustic touches, making it a comfortable and eclectically decorated respite after spending the day touring or shopping. We took advantage of Marie's list of her favorite restaurants and enjoyed amazing meals. And we very much appreciated Marie's offer to call a taxi to pick us up at 4:30 in the morning when we were departing. Make sure to ask Marie about the keys as they are a touch finickity until you master them. Otherwise, our stay at the Peaceful Oasis was perfect!

An amazing property in an ideal location

We have stayed in this apartment once in the past, and cannot say enough wonderful things about the property, the owner/managers, the location, and the overall rental process. We had a lovely stay. The apartment is beautiful and has all the necessities for a very comfortable stay. The beds are comfortable, the air conditioning works well, the living area is spacious. Everything was just perfect, and we so appreciated being so well taken care of.
