très bel appartement et séjour très agréable
l'appartement est situé à une vingtaine de minute à pied du ponte Vecchio et à une dizaine de minute du palais Pitti; il est très bien situé pour toute sorte de commerces (y compris une boutique où une charmante dame fabrique des pâtes fraiches maison). très bel accueil de Simone qui nous a reçu avec des fruits, des boissons dans le frigo et du très bon vin. les photos correspondent tout à fait à la réalité. Simone c'est aussi occupé de nous réserver une place dans le parking souterrain La Perla, situé au pied de l'immeuble. logement que je recommande chaudement.

Absolument parfait !!
Cet appartement est absolument magnifique ! encore mieux que sur les photos ! Simone a été particulièrement accueillant avec beaucoup de petites attentions et de conseils( bouteilles de vin, frigo rempli de boissons, corbeille de fruits, tickets de bus, bons restaurants aux alentours ). On se croyait dans une vrai suite d'un hôtel de luxe ! La localisation est tout à fait appropriée pour une famille, à la fois dans un très beau quartier calme et résidentiel baigné de verdure avec les jardins de boboli à proximité, tout en étant à 10 minutes à pied du Ponte Vecchio ou à quelques minutes en bus. A recommander ++++++ Nous serons ravis d'y retourner. Encore Merci à Simone pour ce merveilleux séjour

Perfect Florence location!
We loved our stay! This is our second time and know that if we head back to Florence again, and it's available, we will try to stay here. The host is wonderful and thoughtful - making sure we knew how everything worked and setting everything up to be comfortable and accessible. The location is perfect if you're visiting Florence! Boboli garden is across the road and everything is otherwise a close walk away or there is the bus. There is even a Taxi stand a minute walk away. It's truly perfect.

Highly Recommend
This property excellent. The host Mr. Simone goes above and beyond. The neighbor is great and you can find parking close by as you will see many people get very creative. We never had an issue parking in some of the “no parking” areas as long as you don’t block a garage or something important. Easy walk to Ponte Vecchio and other tourist spots. The Piazzale Michelangelo is right up the hill and has incredible views and some immaculate homes up there. Trattoria Da Ruggero is right around the corner and a don’t miss family restaurant. Make a reservation as it’s small. Porta Romana is a steak house and wood fired pizza joint also just around the corner. Fresh pastries and coffee as well a few steps away. I highly recommend it. The pics of the place speak for themselves.

Large and Immaculate 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment
Beautiful area next to tranquil Boboli Gardens, lots of delicious restaurants nearby. Easy to reach Florence hotspots by foot or taxi. The mattresses were very high quality. Simone was wonderful and helped us check in and out. Highly Recommend!

2nd time
We stayed here while visiting Florence in October ‘22 and came back again in Oct ‘23. A wonderful place! a taxi stand across the street, great restaurants up the next street, the best coffee/pastry shop in the city and quick easy access to everything plus it is a beautiful apartment and quiet. We walked down to the main center of town and taxied back. I highly recommend Simone’s property.

The listing photos do not do the apartment justice, it is full of fine finished details. The amenities exceeded expectation in every way. Excellent Florence apartment
All the reviews are true. Simone is a gem. Wow, this apartment was fantastic , the layout is excellent as the 2 bedrooms are on opposite ends (we were 2 couples) and an extremely comfortable living room. Roomy bathroom, the kitchen is equipped as we were able to cook with gas stove and electric oven and had items as needed. The grocery store is a 5 minute walk. The local bus is perfect to get around if needed and everything can be walked to in the city within 30 minutes. We are very thankful for the beauty and quality of this apartment and it was quiet. Simone went above and beyond on several occasions for us. Would certainly stay again.

Superb!
We have stayed in many rentals all over the US and in France and Simone’s property exceeded all expectation. He is an incredible host who is kind and trustworthy and cares about his guests comfort and happiness. The location is perfect. The neighborhood is authentic yet close to tourist attractions. Great for morning runs! Clean and incredibly comfortable. Loved it so very much. We will be back!

Wonderful host- wonderful stay!
Simone is an amazing host and a truly kind person. His place was clean and he had all the nice touches, and it is a large apartment. He was waiting to greet us when we arrived and showed us everything in the apartment, as well as told us about local restaurants, stores, etc. On the last day, he tried to call us a taxi and we couldn’t get one, so he took us to the bus, rode it with us to the train station and showed us the train since we don’t speak Italian and were a bit confused on how to get to the train. He wanted nothing in return. Truly a thoughtful and kind person who goes above and beyond. All the sites in Venice were about 15-30 minute walking distance and very easy to navigate and get to, while taking in the local culture. I highly recommend!

Summer trip
Simone was an excellent host. The venue was absolutely amazing. It has all the charm of Italy, great locations to local restaurants, and close to the Boboli gardens and the center of Florence. Also, a very quiet neighborhood. Simone also recommended a few restaurants that within a five minute walking distance and they were both excellent. Also a very secure and safe area. Superior accommodation
This unit is beautiful, and worked well for our family. It is in a location convenient to Boboli Gardens, about one minute from the entrance. For families visiting, you can purchase an annual family pass for 101 euro at the Pitti Palace ticket office that gets everyone into the Uffizi, Pitti Palace and several other museums, but also Boboli, and then you can walk back and forth each day between this unit and the Ponte Vecchio through the gardens if you'd like. There is a grocery, a gelato store, and several good restaurants convenient to the apartment. The apartment itself is spotless, wonderfully decorated, and spacious enough to be able to relax at the end of a day of touring. The beds are very comfortable. However, even though the apartment was stellar, the highlight of the stay was the attentiveness of Simone, who is a delightful host. He met us at check-in and reviewed everything with us. He left us a refrigerator full of bottled water and several bottles of wine. He also assisted us with taxi reservations. On the morning of our check-out, we had a 0755 train for Milan, and Simone had reserved a 0700 cab for us. We were surprised and delighted to see Simone come to see us off and make sure everything went smoothly. That went above and beyond, and was so appreciated. It reduced stress for us. If you are thinking of booking this unit, you will not be disappointed. We will not hesitate to recommend Simone to friends of ours who are traveling to Florence!

Very elegant and well maintained apartment, excellent location near Boboli gardens entrance. Simone met us at the apartment and provided a wealth of information, all of which made our stay that more enjoyable. Just having a list of good local restaurants is a benefit. A wonderful apartment!
This apartment was so comfortable. It was equipped with so Mnuchin mmore than the usual stripped-down VRBO accommodations. Simone is a superior manager. Our refrigerator was stocked with plenty of water, soda and juice. T wottl s of wine (white and red) we’re waiting for us. There were plenty of to, paper towels, towels, etc. the neighborhood has lovely restaurants for locals; Simone has great suggestions. It’s a bit of a hike to the Ponte Vecchio (1.3 km) but not a problem. There’s a little Carre Fore Express on t to he route to the Ponte Vecchio, near the Apt, that has all you’ll need. It was just two of us so we spread out, but would be great for two couples or a family if 4 or 5. (Second bedroom has a double bed and a twin. Very spacious. One last thing we’ll worth mentioning if you travel much. The closets in both bedrooms are new and big. Plus! Plenty of nice hangars!!!!

Simone's Apartment and Services
Though located at Porta Romana, some distance from Florence, the apartment and the service provided by Simone, the landlord, were exceptional. The fridge was stocked with enough water for a three week stay, there were several bottles of wine and cold drinks. Simone left four bus passes and he came when we arrived and left to carry our baggage to and from the first floor. He also arranged the taxi to take us to the airport. He responded immediately by text to any question we had. In all my years of travel, no apartment owner can match the service and kindness of Simone and no apartment can match the devices (fridge, washmachine, stove) and the dishes and silverware Simone's apartment provided. On behalf of my friend Joan and I, I thank Simone for the care he gave us!

We are three women on a girls trip. We loved the apartment and felt like we were living in a villa! Simone was an excellent host. He met us there and explained everything about the apartment and gave us recommendations for restaurants and shopping in the area. The wine and bottled water were very much appreciated! The two bedrooms and especially two bathrooms were great for three women. One note. We did not realize quite how far the apartment is from central Florence and should have listened more carefully when Simone explained the bus schedule. We spent a lot of time walking when we could have been on bus 11! Thank you Simone for your hospitality and we hope to be back soon!

This property was the most lovely/charming of any I have stayed in. Exquisite ceilings and beautiful, yet comfortable furnishings. Simone gave us a wonderful welcome (including bottles of wine and plenty of water bottles) and reviewed all aspects of the apartment. We loved stepping across the street and into the Boboli Gardens! A short 15 minute walk put us in front of the Pitti Palace. I will recommend to any friends visiting Florence who want to stay in an authentic and immaculate accommodation.

The property is fantastic. In a quite neighborhood but still close enough to walk to museums, restaurants and shops. Three of us stayed in this beautifully decorated apartment for six days. Simone was a friendly and most gracious host providing helpful advice on a range of topics. Greeting us at the door, he ensured that weary travellers were fully briefed on the amenities and then ensured we had a reservation at a lovely spot for our first meal. The neighborhood is close to the attractions, but just far enough away to be a friendly non-touristy neighbourhood. Gorgeous apartment and a fabulous host!
This was my first time in Italy (and Florence) and we couldn't have picked a better apartment! It's on a quiet street about a mile from city center, but definitely walkable. It's very close to a taxi stand, so although we walked most of the time, we appreciated a taxi occasionally. Simone is a charming and attentive host. He met us at the apartment & showed us how everything worked. The refrigerator was stocked with enough water & cold drinks to last through our 4 days & he even left us 2 bottles of wine. He checked in periodically and helped arrange a taxi several times. He also responds VERY quickly to any and all inquiries and genuinely seemed concerned that we had everything we needed. Book this apartment with confidence. You won't be disappointed! Clean, comfortable beds, gorgeous painted ceilings, etc. Thank you Simone! We loved Florence and your amazing apartment.

A Perfect Stay in Florence
From the moment we booked our stay with Simone he was in contact with us. He was an excellent host and gave us all the information we needed for a wonderful time in Florence. Gorgeous Immaculate Flat in Superb Location
First of all we absolutely loved Simone. He’s adorable, sweet, friendly. The flat itself is historic, gorgeous, the frescoed ceilings amazing. There were four of us in our family and we loved the spaciousness and beauty of the flat. And it was a short walk to the Duomo, Pitti Palace and main attractions. Besides this, Simone left us tons of goodies in the fridge and they were most appreciated.! Highly recommend! We will stay here again in the future.

I don't normally leave reviews but Simone was an exceptional host and deserves the recognition. Simone accommodated an early check-in. When we arrived at the apartment the refrigerator was stocked with a variety of cold beverages, which our teenage children appreciated after a long morning of travels. He also gifted us with wine, a nice touch. Simone arranged taxis for us on the days we needed transportation. He also helped us retrieve my son's phone (which was accidentally left on a tour bus). He recommended restaurants, gave us a city map, and was just the perfect gentleman and host. Great experience. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you, Simone!

Fantastic property, best place we stayed in Italy
We stayed at Simone’s apartment for 4 nights in the summer. The place was just perfect, centrally located, clean, and beautiful. Simone was a fantastic host. He thought of all the little details. The fridge was stocked with a variety of cold drinks and also wine. There were slippers, robes, shower gel, and etc. Such a nice home away from home. All the instructions were clearly written including restaurant recommendations. The apartment was in a quieter part of town but still within walking distance to main attractions. All the rooms had AC and the beds were comfortable. This was hands-down the best property we stayed at during our entire trip.

Perfect stay in Florence!
We absolutely LOVED this apartment and our host Simone! He couldn’t have been more polite, helpful or accommodating and the property is gorgeous and well positioned. About a mile walk from the city center and on a quiet street, we basically walked everywhere until we rented a car to tour towns around the Tuscan region. Simone even helps to confirm a parking spot reservation right next door and you pay only for the nights needed. Couldn’t have had a better spot to introduce our teen daughters to the wonderful Toscana region! This spot will not disappoint!, book with confidence 😍😊

Amazing apartment
Simone was first class, he was prompt, explained everything, gave us good tips, was easy to communicate with. The apartment was beautiful, clean, well stocked, he thought of everything we needed. Beds were comfy, showers great. We walked everywhere, it’s douable, but there is a taxi rank just yards from the apartment. Would love to come back here.

Beautiful and clean apartment
Our stay at Simone’s house was perfect! He welcome us and gave us all the indications of the house amenities. The house was sparkling clean, comfortable and well located. Simone was available for recommendations and inquiries all the time. Highly recommend this place!

Beautiful apartment, gracious and helpful host
This spacious, clean and comfortable apartment is in the charming Porto Romano area of Florence - with good restaurants, yummy gelato, aperitivo and beautiful walks all just steps away from the front door. A nearby taxi stand was convenient when we needed to get to an appointment on the other side of the river quickly, but we mainly walked. To the Ponte Vecchio is 15-20 minutes on foot. We stayed a week and Simone was so helpful. On Easter, when many places were booked, he made us a reservation at a lovely neighborhood spot, he helped us figure out the online purchasing of Florentina football tickets, and called us a taxi when it was raining and our plans for getting to the airport for our flight home fell through. This apartment is a safe, quiet place, excellent for a good night’s rest after a busy day walking around Florence. Thank you Simone! You helped make our first time in Florence a great trip!

Beautiful apartment in perfect location!
The apartment was beautiful inside and very large. Ideal for spending an extended period of time or those with a family of four or five. A great apartment for those wishing to get to bed early or sleep late - quiet in the evening or day with the windows closed. There are a number of places close by to grab a bite to eat or drink. The walk to Ponte Vecchio and across the bridge was very enjoyable. The location is very ideal for folks that enjoy walking and want to get some extra steps in. There is a cab stand close by, alternatively, and we also used Uber once. The apartment is above the ground level, so there are a a few steps up. I highly recommend this apartment!

Perfect family holiday
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday at Simone’s oasis of an apartment. We followed many of his suggestions for restaurants, which were all very good and reasonably priced. The set up of the apartment was all that we needed for our family of grandmother, son, wife and baby. It was very quiet and lovely. We enjoyed the neighborhood shopping as well. We often walked to the historical center and found this was a great way to walk off the morning pastries and nightly pasta. Simone provide many beverages, including wine, water, soda and all the makings for tea and espresso. We made dinner a couple of times and had all we needed in the kitchen to do so. Very well equipped. Simone is a very sweet, accommodating host. You just can’t go wrong here if you are looking to live a more authentic Italian life while visiting Florence. Highly recommend!

The best !
We have traveled and stayed in quite a few homes . Simone’s home has been the best ! The attention to detail , the cleanliness, and neighborhood are all amazing . He doesn’t speak much English but really try’s hard and uses google translate when needed. I would highly recommend his home and would love to stay again if given the opportunity. The pictures don’t do the apartment justice . The beds were so comfortable we overslept one day . I will be comparing all my home away stays to this one .
