Schönes Hotel in top lage, aber leider etwas laut
Sehr schönes Hotel im Herzen von Florenz, nur einige Schritte vom Dom entfernt. Das Hotel ist relativ klein, die Rezeption ist primär nur ein kleiner Schreibtisch mit PC im 3. Stock, dafür sehr familiär, die Angestellten waren alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer (mit hoher Decke) sind schön und bieten den üblichen Komfort mit Flat Screen TV, Safe (relativ klein, PAD geht keines rein) Minibar (die aber nach der Entnahme der 3. Wasserflasche zu sehr fairen Preisen für den Rest des Aufenthalts nicht mehr aufgestockt wurde) sowie grosszügiger Dusche. Alles in allem also ein sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel, aber: wer Wert legt auf Ruhe, sollte unbedingt ein Zimmer Richtung Innenhof verlangen. Unser Zimmer im 3. Stock hatte das Fenster genau auf die Via Martelli, und genau in dieser Strasse befinden sich 5 oder 6 dieser Abfall Trenn-Container, welche im Boden versenkt sind. Der LKW kam zwecks Leerung in der Regel 2x pro Tag vorbei und fabrizierte ein Höllenlärm mit der Leerung, ebenfalls sind auf der anderen Seite des Doms eine Anzahl Krankenautos stationiert, die dann zu allen Zeiten mit Martinshorn durch die nächtlichen Strassen rauschen. Auch war jeden Abend ein Strassenmusikant auf der Via Marelli, der bis 2300h musizierte, also im Hotel an sich sehr ruhig, aber von der Strasse leider sehr viel Lärm....

great place to stay.
We had a really great stay at Matinelli 6. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. Furthermore the bathroom is really generous and the shower is really nice as well. The hotel is really good located , close to the DOM and furthermore to almost all attractions around. You can easily walk there. The staff is really nice and they really try to make you feel comfortable. english could be a bit better. there is no parking zone around... just a parking house which is really expensive (25 EUR a night)

Das Apartment liegt in einer Fußgängerzone. Von dort aus sind alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Auch Lebensmittelgeschäfte und andere Läden sind in unmittelbarer Nähe.

The only thing this property has going for it is that it's close to the Duomo. The photos of the rooms are not reflective of the rooms you will ACTUALLY get. They are worse. Our room had a mosquito infestation, I killed a total of 8 mosquitos during our stay. Every morning I would wake up with bug bites – our windows were closed and it was November during our visit, cold enough for mosquitos to be dead. I was scared to sleep at night because of the bugs. The reception is always in your business. Spend your money at other nice properties in the same area – there are lots to choose from.

Excellent location, right in the heart of Florence (steps away from Il Duomo. Fantastically comfortable bed. Really clean. Kitchenette was great (could do with some more cutlery!). Shower was amazing! Would highly recommend.

It was a poor stay. I wouldn’t stay again. Upon check in after the allowed time, we got our keys and had to wait outside the room for the lady to finish cleaning. Poor communication, I felt bad that we rushed her but the front desk should be communicating and knowing which rooms are clean and are not… the room itself was okay. The location was great, only plus, except the street is very very very noisy at all hours of he night. It was hard to get a good nights rest. The rooms did not feel very clean. Pros: The staff at the front desk was friendly and the location was good, nice central downtown area and it was a good price.

Dear Michelle , thank you for your review! we would like to point out that you arrived at 11.00 am leaving your luggage in the storage room. You have been advised to return after 2.30pm , as specified on Expedia. Obviously you have omitted to specify that you returned before the check-in time not as specified in the review at the exact time. Surely, for the future, following this review we will respect the check-in times from 2.30 pm onwards, so as to avoid complains. We take the liberty of suggest you to respect the times indicated for check-in and check-out from the various bed & breakfast and Hotels. Fortunately, after these closures due to Covid pandemic, the city center is back to life, but for street artists there is nothing to do. Florence is a city of art and music. Next time, respect the check-in time so we can perfectly clean the room, without to be pressed (even if your statement seems exaggerated to us). We are sorry to know that the stay was poor, because, next to us there is an hostel with rooms with shared bathroom or even shared beds at the same price of 50.00 euros that you spent with us. All the best!!!

Booked (1) queen city view room. Mattress is not queen; instead, two small twins connected with each other. The room smells like a public toilet—huge issue the sewers! The receptionist was rude; if you do not like the room you can leave! Noisy street “City View” with a guitar music and two (2) speakers. Grossly misadvertised!

I inform you that the assigned room was the right one. When booking, we always recommend looking at all the photos, in the photo gallery, of the type of room you book. And, of course, read all descriptions carefully and thoroughly. So for your mistakes you don't have to attack your neighbor. It would have been nice for you to have a Suite with a frescoed ceiling for 60.00 euros. In fact, we probably would have given it to him even if he had spoken politely to the receptionist. Your attitude was aggressive, vulgar and threatening, even screaming in the face of the colleague. Obviously, following this attitude, he was asked to leave the facility otherwise we would have had to call the police. We remind you that you have booked in Florence, city of art and music, so don't blame the street artists, we are in democracy. We also want to point out that the way you left the room is disgusting to say the least! And you left without paying the 4.00 euro tourist tax, next time we will lend it to you! Luckily not all guests are like you !! you are a rare species and you should travel less, apart from a horrible stay you are a horrible person!

The location of this hotel is absolutely ideal for walking to the major Florence sights. Our room was on the small side but adequate for our needs and it was very quiet. The major problem was the mold and/or mildew under the shower and at the window.

Afirma que tem estacionamento, mas não tem. Na verdade, indica um estacionamento, caríssimo, nas imediações. O café da manhã, previamente pago na diária, se constitui em um voucher para dois pães, um café e um suco servidos no balcão do Etaly ao lado por duas grosseiras. O que salva é a excelente localização.

良かったよ！
イータリーの真横、DUOMOが見える場所で立地も大変良く、シンプルでおしゃれ。清潔感のある快適なお部屋でした。シャワー室も同プライスの近隣ホテルより充分な広さがあり、また宿泊したいと思います。夕方から夜にかけて目の前では日々路上ライブ、かなりの音量ではありますが、深夜にまで及ぶことはなくそれはそれで愛嬌ある一場面として感じました(笑)
