Lovely and Cozy Cottage

We had a wonderful stay at the Rose Chalet. It was the perfect place to stay to explore Florence and the sand dunes. It was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities one could ever need.

A Little Disappointed

Location for us was good. The main level flooring was all nice/ new luxury vinyl tile. We didn't need it but the upper bedroom was questionable-low ceiling requiring occupants to crawl into bed. Disappointed with some of the cleanliness. Before we used the shower we had to purchase shower cleaner to remove what appeared to be black mold. The door seal on the washing machine is nasty - clearly hasn't been cleaned for a while. The dryer filter was plugged with what appeared to be carpet remenants. The unit does not have a dishwasher so I continually wondered how clean the previous renter had left things. I am not a clean freak but this home needs a little attention. It is a cute little place in a convenient location.

Perfect walkable coastal dune getaway

Perfect little spot with the most charming decorating. Convenient to walk to downtown or the Exploding Whale park, and quick drive to a number of hiking trails. Would definitely come again.

Cute tiny home, with a cozy modern touch.

The house was super tiny from the outside. But you walk inside and its like a harry potter tent trick you feel alot more spacious and spread out. The grill outside has just enough cooking space for a small dinner. The claw foot tub was a fantastic touch.We barley watched tv cause the town was so close we just walked and sat outside most of the time.Definitely coming back!

Rodent issue

We communicated with property management the first evening that one bedroom had active rodent activity and insulation and mouse droppings falling on to bed from above. Property Management confirmed they do not manage housekeeping or maintenance for the house. Said owner would be notified. Didn’t hear anything further all weekend from anyone. Still haven’t. We could not use the bed. Had to sleep on floor and couch. Would like 50% refund as we couldn’t use 50% of the beds the whole weekend. Very disappointing and frustrating.

Cozy spot in a walkable location

This was our second stay in this space, so we knew what to expect and were not disappointed. Everything is clean and ready for you to relax. We did a fair amount of cooking and found what we needed in the kitchen but also walked into town for a few meals. The hot tub area is private and perfect for two people.

Delightful Experience

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Slept well. Enjoyed the hot tub in the evening and the close proximity to Old Town. Ate at the Depot and coffee every morning at the roaster.

Wedding anniversary

We are retired couple, both widowed, our spouses of 45 year's and 58 years passed yeas back, found each other ,we're married September 23, 2023,the was a perfect cottage for our celebration together. It was the perfect place, time and will never be forgotten. Thanks to our host,will rent again soon

Please help!

I have notified the owners that I left a couple of items in their rental. A charging cable and an Echo Dot Alexa which was left behind a curtain inside in the living room area. The owners don’t seem like they are very responsive in getting these items back to me! Leaving it up to the cleaning lady to take care of. I will gladly pay postage to have these things mailed to me! Please let me know you have received this and will help Me hat back th things I forgot! Thanks very much! Dave Pitzemrm

Cute little cottage that's just right!

Cute, clean, comfortable, close to Old Town. Everything we needed for a short week in Florence. Very comfy bed, just enough dishes and pans for the limited cooking we did. The snacks and bottle were a very nice surprise and much appreciated!

Little piece of paradise!

I absolutely loved this cute little cottage. I was travelling alone and with my dogs and the neighborhood felt safe and great location. A short walk to a beautiful wee park that I watched the sunset at. Had fun day trips to surrounding areas to hike and enjoy the beaches and dunes. The house itself is fantastic. Checking in was easy and seamless. It was stocked with everything I needed to make meals. Bed in the bedroom was comfortable, I didn’t sleep in the loft bed. I really absolutely adored this place!!! The hosts go above and beyond!! Can’t recommend this place enough, thank you so much for a fabulous stay!

Awesome Spot

Was a wonderful home, yard, hot tub, had everything we needed. Loved the funky decor, The beds were so comfortable. Close walk to old town and close drive to HWY for groceries. Really enjoyed.

We greatly enjoyed our stay here. It was clean, stocked with everything we needed, and adorable. The hot tub was not hot, so that is the main reason we gave 4 stars. I would recommend this house to anyone.

Roberts family vacation

The house was so cute! It had such a nice welcome basket of treats when we arrived. The neighborhood was right near Old Town Florence, which was very quaint. Landscaping and gardens were lovely. Our 20 y/o son enjoyed the area upstairs. We hiked all around and took a side trip to Bend. It was a wonderful trip and we would book this cottage again. The claw foot tub was great. Warm, comfortable and cozy place to stay! Oregon is beautiful. Thank you for sharing your cottage and travel ideas with us!

Perfect little home

This place is amazing in every way - so clean and has the most beautiful yard and back area - the hot tub is clean and so very relaxing. This worked so perfect for us and we would definitely stay again !! Cozy and comfortable- the bed downstairs is soft and I had the best nights sleep . Thank you for such a little treasure
