THE SWELL is a four-bedroom, three-bath beach retreat that sleeps eight, set a half-block off Center Street and surrounded by everything Folly Beach. Filled with light and air, it delivers the relaxed, recently refreshed coastal feel you'd expect a few blocks from the beach.



Out back, a fenced, palm-shaded courtyard encircles a saltwater pool (warmed on request), rounded out with bubbling deck jets, a travertine sun deck, loungers and a shaded dining table for long midday meals and easy afternoons.



The ocean is two blocks away and the made-over Folly Beach Pier is a short walk down the shore. Center Street's boutiques, surf shops and bars are right there — a slice from Woody's, globally inspired plates at Jack of Cups Saloon, oceanfront sips at Pinky's on the Beach, and live music nearly every night.



The Space:

Primary suite — king bed, vaulted ceiling, spa-style en-suite with a glass walk-in shower (upstairs)

The center of the home is a bright, open living area flowing out to the patio, with a smart TV and a fully equipped kitchen made for everything from early coffee to a fresh seafood feast. Island seating for four, a dining table and in-home laundry finish it.

Getting Around:

We provide complimentary off street parking right in front of the property, making it easy to arrive by car and explore the island at your own pace. While Folly Beach is best enjoyed on foot or by bicycle given our prime location just steps from the ocean and Center Street, visitors typically fly into Charleston International Airport, which is approximately a thirty minute drive from the home. Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are readily available throughout the area if you prefer not to drive during your stay.
