« Clean room, host is easy to communicate with, spacious rooms, AC is working properly, beddings are clean. The only thing that I think would make a guest stay more comfortably is if a sink would be at the dining/kitchen near the fridge and cooking area rather than going thru the bedroom all the way to the bathroom to wash dishes and utensils. « Our family had the best time in Alexandria and DC proper with The George as our homebase. Beds were very comfortable, living space and linens were all fresh and clean. The property is very close to a Safeway grocery store and with all the amenities The George offered we could easily prepare meals. « The place was great. 10 minute walk to Metro, Chewish deli next door is a great, easy breakfast. Parking wasn't difficult (if you can parallel park), even with 5-6 spaces closed due to construction. I would bring a sleep mask if you want to sleep in. We had no issues but did ask a few questions and they were very prompt to answer.The property is in a great location- very easy to walk in old town or drive to local spots easily. Kitchen has all the necessary equipment for cooking, and the home is outfitted well. We would stay here again! »

« The property is nice and updated, looks just like the pictures. The backyard is a great retreat! The 2 private parking spaces made it comfortable to come and go.
