Large house on quiet street. A lot of space to move around. Nice back yard and pool. Front living space with sectional sofa and chaise and large tv. Ceiling fan but no lights. Dining table next to living room. Space for 8 to sit. Kitchen/ game room very large. Game room has a sofa and 4 player video game console. Played a couple of old school games for fun. Kitchen had most of the utensils we needed for the 3 day weekend. 1/2 bath downstairs is decent, but the door provides little to no privacy. We had to enact a “no pooping” rule. Upstairs bedrooms were comfortable. Beds were nice. Twin daybed /nested rollout was ok. Not much room in this area as this is actually the upstairs office that overlooks the family room. Privacy is a curtain. The biggest concern we had while there was the air conditioning. Being hot and humid is a given for Texas this time of year. However, the upstairs was very difficult to manage a decent sleeping temperature. The programmable thermostat had a schedule so I had to change the temperature and hold it. Also had to turn the fan to circulate. It helped, but still not great. Bring fans. The house is definitely not lived in. A lot of cob webs in upper windows and above curtains. Needs a good once over to check light bulbs and ceiling fans for operation The location is fantastic. Close to things we wanted to do. It rained the entire time we were there, but we had a blast playing board games and hanging out as family.

Very good place to stay. House was clean, good neighborhood and we really enjoyed the pool. Some of the updates done seemed to have been done by inexperienced handyman but did not take away from the stay. Would recommend more lighting in the back yard and around the pool. Also would recommended a better grill. Overall we really enjoyed it and would definitely stay again. Communication with the owner was well above average.

Great Place For a Night Away

My teenage daughter wanted a sleepover for a few friends, but our house in Arlington is really small. We found this home to rent, with the bonus factor of having a pool! The girls had a great time and plenty of room to spread out and enjoy being together without feeling like we were all in eachother's space and way. I also got good sleep in the primary bedroom away from all the giggling! Everything was pretty clean and we had plenty of dishes, bath towels and pool towels for our group.

Convenient and comfortable

We visited for a wedding and needed a central location. The house was in a great spot, not too busy, close to anything we needed, and close to relatives and venue. We were able to walk to the nature park nearby, so that was a bonus.The house was spacious and well stocked for our short stay. The owners were quick to respond, friendly, and accommodating. The beds and living spaces were comfortable.My only reason for not giving five stars is that the house smelled a bit like smoke and the yard (front and back) was unkept looking. The smell was unpleasant, but not overwhelming. The yard was not a problem for us, just would’ve been nice if the backyard was less messy.

Christmas Visit

This house was perfect for our group of five adults and two children. Everyone loved the arcade table & all the amenities we needed were provided. There was even a Christmas tree which was a wonderful touch. We would like to stay here again next time we visit.

VRBO NIGHTMARE

STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOUSE!!! Yes, the pictures look great; the house, however, is a complete disaster. Everything in the house is broken and disgusting! I notified the host daily and texted her pictures daily. These are the issues we faced during our 5-day stay: not our garbage overflowing outside with critters getting into it. The whole house was dusty and dirty. Light bulbs burnt out throughout the house. The kitchen was dirty, with stuck-on food on pans and dishes, food on countertops, and grime on the microwave. The living room rug was curled up and a major trip hazard. The grill was filthy. The pool was filthy and disgusting; it had a green film on it. The backyard was dirty and had deflated pool floaties and toys all over. RED LITTLE BUGS EVERYWHERE INSIDE. COCKROACHES spotted in this house! Bathrooms have black mold everywhere. Bathroom sinks are clogged. I’m sure the host will respond, “I offered to send cleaners, but you declined.” You decline anything one time; she thinks her job is done. No empathy, no consideration, and extremely rude! We should have left immediately! This house is a major health concern. I contacted VRBO; they basically just escalate it and will get back to me sometime in the near future. This house needs to be taken off the market due to health code violations! The host also filed a claim on the protection insurance we purchased. Insurance fraud as everything she claimed broken was already damaged and dirty. Save your money, don't stay here!

Long weekend with Family

I had family come in town for their son’s basketball tournament in Mansfield. I live in Fort Worth so we all rented this lovely house to save having to drive back and forth. There was plenty of room for all of us and the location to everything was perfect. We were unable to use the pool due to time and weather but hopefully if this is a yearly thing I wouldn’t hesitate to rent this house again. Owners were extremely nice and very responsive to any communication. The house was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We all enjoyed our time here and thank them for sharing their beautiful house with us.

First, communication with the property manager was EXCELLENT! Overall impression of the property was favorable. Would definitely recommend this property if your wanting to be within a short driving distance to ATT stadium and the Ft. Worth area. Note: driveway in the online listing is nowhere near that long. (not a game changer!)
